Pet Lovers Package

bought this to try and help severely allergic brother in law at Christmas. Used the shampoo on the dog (a 5kg long coated Chihuahua) a few days before he visited at my parents otherwise pet-free house (we were there for four days in total) and despite this and major hovering, he still had such a bad reaction that he had to go home a day early. We patch tested the spray on my mothers oatmeal wool carpet and found that it became discoloured, so did not use it further, unfortunately. My brother in law is the most allergic (to animals) person I have ever encountered, (he is under consultant care and on multiple medications that do not help much) so this may not have been a fair test. The shampoo is pleasant and does get rid of the 'doggy' odour, so will continue to use it. I do get mild allergic reactions to some animals myself and found that this shampoo left me able to bury my face in the dog (not that I do this very often!) without any reaction, but then I don't seem to react to her much in any case.

We have had our dog Edison for 8 years and he is a major part of our family. Sadly when our Niece came to stay we found out that she is allergic to dogs :-(Through a quick google search we stumbled across the Allergy Cosmos page and found that what she is allergic to is Pet Dander (their saliva), my husband and I found their advice to be of great use to us.We purchased the Pet Lover Package to remove all the common household allergens from bedding, clothes, etc (and Edison is happy with the shampoo) and the Blueair 450E Air Purifier removes any airborne ones.In no time our Niece's symptoms were under control and her and Edison now get on fine! :-)
