After returning multiple door sill protectors for our Jeep Gladiator I decided I would have to make my own to get the coverage required to protect sills from my wife’s many shoes. The guards built especially for her truck didn’t cover top to bottom where her scuffs and scratches are happening. This product solved the problem! It is not just flimsy wrap tape. It is rubbery. Thick enough to protect but malleable enough to take to the contours without any struggle or wrinkles. Also super easy to trim. If they stay stuck (which I anticipate they will due to proper prep of the surface with isopropyl alcohol) they deserve 5 stars. Plenty on the roll to do the four door truck with enough left to do another vehicle.

This stuff works great! Super durable and thick. The adhesive appears to be strong and holding well so far. Cane as textured tape and not the carbon fiber weave as shown, otherwise 5 stars.

One of the worst items purchased. The roll came apart and spiraled everywhere. The adhesive was week even tried heating it. Tried to cut it and it chipped in weird angles. Threw away after messing with it. DO NOT RECOMMEND! Spend thr extra money for 3M grip tape.

Description says carbon but it’s not it’s just plain black.

I originally bought this a while back for my truck, well things happen, and we traded the truck, but I happened to notice the tape was the same width as the door jam in the car. Cars always wear the paint in this area, I wanted to prevent damages to the paint, so I had just enough of this tape left to do one door. I ordered another roll, it works fantastic, the adessive is very good. I cleaned the jam with IPA and measured out what tape I would need and applied it. It works excellent it's a good product; it has a decent price and that means a lot no adays.

Purchased to line a greater area of my car door sill for my service dog who prefers to climb up into his seat rather than jump. It installed easily, has stuck well and provides good traction without being too rough.
