Second Skin Tattoo Aftercare Waterproof Bandage - Transparent Stretch Tape, Clear Protection Film for Recovery (15cm x 2m)

Never used second skin before (have 9 tattoos), but my artist used it after completing a largish piece on my arm at the end of the final sitting. First sitting I didn’t use it & everything healed as normal but the red ink in the tattoo bubbled lots & took about 10 days to heal. Second sitting used this, changed it every 24hrs, cleaned the tat, moisturised & re-applied. After 4 days it was practically fully healed - even the red & absolutely no bubbling!No irritation from the second skin, easy to apply & stayed on no problems. Will definitely be using this for my next tattoo!

Bought this after pediatrics failed to give us the correct plasters alongside the numbing cream for bloods. This did the trick to keep the numbing cream where it needed to stay.

Used this to cover a new tattoo, really impressed makes aftercare so easy and healed in super quick time.

Not great for what I needed it for. It's perfect for tattoo coverage on say.. A leg or arm, if the surface you are trying to apply to isn't round and 'wrappable' it's hard to apply without it bunching up and getting stuck to itself. 10x12 framed tegaderm patches work much better in this case as the frame ensures its keeps its shape till you are done applying. Not for my purpose, but I'm sure great for others

Stays on well and can be cut wide enough to cover a good area. This prevents any water to get near my cgm for 7 days (2 layers applied in cross shape). No skin allergy noted when I have had some rash with medical tape in the past. Good value for money.

Absolutely fantastic product. Awesome to protect and cover a new tattoo allowing it to heal nicely

Applied it quite easily, smoothes it out and then the second I moved it came off and away from my skin. Wouldn't recommend
