It’s expensive, well worth it, lids love it! Large Track! Need more space, all track pieces did nor fit on platform!

Good, but not quite as durable as Carrera tracks of the past. I bought this set as a way of getting the power track for my track sets from years ago, and to get some cars that my grankids would be interested in running. The cars did what I had hoped - the grandkids are having a lot of fun with them. Two problems with the power track. First, sometime since the last time I bought a Carrera Evolution set years agot and now, they changed the connections between the power track, transformer, and controllers. None of my old connectors will work with the new track. (Luckily, all my old track will still work.) Second, the new connectors do not seem as robust as the old connectors. After a third set up, the connection from one of the controllers was spotty. I was able to fix it with some simple tools, but I would expect the set to be more durable than that. Other than that, the set is good and runs well. And my grandkids, age 5-9, are having a lot of fun (as is their grandpa). It is a good way to pass the hobby down to the younger generation.

I bought this set for my son's 12th birthday and he loves it and he always has a blast racing with me or with friends. We had a small issue with one of the controllers and communicated this to Carrera and they sent a replacement. I have since added a lap counter and plan on adding more accessories and different cars. The track is compatible with a Carrera set that I got over 30 years ago (!) so that is telling about how long it may last.

This is a really great track set here's my layout it's five and a half feet wide by 12 ft long everything looks great I have the race car set on low speed so they go around the track great you really need the room for this track set

Purchased as a gift for my grandchildren . Perfect starter track for they're age group ,6 and 8 years old . Easy to put together and the fun starts as soon as the cars hit the track .
