they will slip if you have to shorting them, I was using them on young goats so I had to make them small and used tape to keep it where I needed them

This is my 4th time to purchase these for my goat heard. They are thick durable and bright colored! Perfect value!

All of the collars were in the packaged but it was missing 2 of the bells. The collars are easily adjustable and the bells have a wind chime sound. The goats seemed to like their new jewelry. I would give 5 stars if all the pieces had been there.

We have a number of goats that we've experimented with collars for. On first glance, we loved these. They were easy to put on, attractive, and nicely reflective in a flashlight at night.But we've had several of them now just literally "fall off" the goats. Maybe they learned how to work the clasp ;) - but I think they plastic clips just tend to catch and then fall off. We find the collar (eventually) and they usually can be re-used. (The plastic snap didn't break.)But the bigger issue is that on smaller goats, they don't maintain size, and tend to loosen to "full extension" over a week or two, whereupon the goats have learned to just 'shrug them off' if they feel like it. I'll need to find collars that don't slip so easily for the smaller necks.

I’m able to bring a reluctant goat into the milking stall with these collars. The only thing is that they are a bit big and don’t hold the adjustment. I’d tape them or something, but it gives me peace of mind in case of getting them caught, the goat could get out of the collar.

We purchased these for our small herd of goats. None of goats have horns so there is little risk of one accidentally strangling another when they are butting heads. Thus, we felt confident ordering these collars. Out of the package these collars looked great, but when worn they will not stay at the size we have adjusted them to. They loosen up all the way and become a hazard for our goats. We had to keep adjusting them every few days and now after a couple weeks they are loose every day we are tending to them. Since they cannot be fitted properly, they slip off too easily and two of the collars have already torn as they are so loose and keep getting caught on brush. One appears to have been chewed through possibly saved by our LGD when one of the goats was stuck. We are now looking for better replacements, because these will not work for us. These may be good for puppies or small dogs that live indoors. Definitely not recommended for livestock use or outdoor pets that roam.

Great collars. They have lasted a while with my goats! Usually by now a bell would be missing just from wear and tear but they’re all still holding up well and with the bells still in tact.

Goat collars do not stay tight and fall off animals. Need metal clips, stays and hold to be more functional. Bells work great. Price is cheap but collar connections is not great quality so it is not a repeat purchase.
