Q: What colours are in the kit and what volume are the tubes?

The 300ml bottles contain a specially formulated ink that gives excellent coverage and printing properties. The paints are viscous and have good hold capabilities. Each pack contains a mix of nine vibrant ink colours - Black, Brown, Green, Orange, Red, Purple, Yellow, White and Blue. Each colour is also available separately.

Q: Do these inks need to be cured if used on fabric and if so how?

No. My daughter the art student, just used the ink straight onto the printing blocks using the roller. She then left the ink to air dry.

Great value for money

Great value for money. Oil based printing inks which can be used on fabric too (which I did on a scarf and results excellent). Will probably be ordering larger tubes nex time as used about a quarter out of each of the tubes for my scarf and a monoprint as I can see me using Speedball inks in future a lot. Very good product.

Awesome to be able to try a variety of colours, sadly it is quiet small tubes but I've done many prints with one tube of black so I'm not too mad about the size and I still have coloured ink to mess around with

nice inks just what i was looking for :)

nice set of inks :) feels nice and thick when rolling it. need to practise a bit more as i'm finding getting used to amount of ink i need in my lino a little difficult as it's different to using traditional water based inks. need to use a bit more than expected to get a vivid image. the seller was also very communicative and helpfull (handprinted UK). only complaint is that they seem very expensive for the amount of ink you get but it is very good quality and a good starter set. as i get used to the inks i use the most i'll be able to replace them with bigger tubes that are slightly better value.

Excellent! Very very pleased with this product. I've managed to block print my own fabric and it's turned out lovely. I washed on a 40 degree wash once cured for a week and there was absolutely no ink running or coming off. I've managed to print 8 metres of fabric with this set and can easily do more. Colours mix well together. Easy to clean with just water. Will be ordering more :)

With a group of 10 today we used most of the ink and that is not good value. Larger tubes in packs required at that ...

I agree the ink dries too quick for an oil based product, you could use a retarder though. Very small tubes for the cost. With a group of 10 today we used most of the ink and that is not good value. Larger tubes in packs required at that price please Speedball! I find I get good results though but you need to apply a fair amount on a roller (brayer).

Very disappointing

Poor value for money and didn’t work well on my tote bags. The ink takes ages to dry and is absorbed into the fabric.
