Nurugo 5280000 High End Microscope for Smartphones with 400x Magnification and iOS / Android APP

I was very surprised at the quality of the images, this is a great microscope and well worth the money. It will be ideal for field work. It is very easy to calibrate and simple to use. I would recommend this microscope very highly.

This is a great microscope accessory for a smartphone. The quality is very good and 400x macro zoom makes you look at the strand of your hair in detail. That experience alone makes this accessory very unique. It does not require any additional battery, which is also a good thing. It comes with a pouch and is very light as well. Overall, the product is good.Then, the rest are quite bad.First of all, this item is for iPhone 6 and 6s. All the other smartphones will be required to have some plastic ring sticker on their lenses. The ring is almost disposable if you detach it from the device. It has to stay on it. The problem is that the sticker tends to wriggle around after some time. The developers kindly put three extra rings but it is still not a very neat way of using the product.Another problem is the way the lens is attached to the device. It comes with two plastic clips; horizontal and vertical. They will fit most smartphones in the market but will not fit well for any of them. The lens keeps moving around because the clip can barely hold it. It will keep slip. And as I explained, the attached sticker ring tends to move around as you use it.Lastly, manual focusing is also not very convenient. You'll need to use a little plastic piece to focus it manually, which is just not a very good way.Overall, this is a great accessory if you are looking for a microscope lens. However, it will not give you a satisfactory user experience overall because of clunky and clumsy implementation of such a good idea. They should sell some exclusive holders for flagship devices. The way that Exolens with ZEISS lenses deal with multiple devices is much neat than Nurugo's way.

Bit fiddly to set up, but it's great. Easy to use, you gotta remember it's a clip on lens, not a high spec frame. But it's good, once you get the focus, you get a good clear image. It's deffo not a cheap plastic lens, it's a quality optic.
