This is a nicely put together Pan & Tilt head that is a breeze to set up.I had the head mounted on my tripod within three minutes after opening the box...Pretty much an all metal (aluminum) build and feels solid in the hand. It has a small handle that screws securely into place when needed. There are times I shoot without handles...so it's always nice to have the option of removing it as opposed to tucking it down.I really like this PT head, but realize it's not very large. I will be using this on my travel tripod. I have already replaced my travel ball head with this Sunwayfoto. I would not put it on my larger tripod however. No slight on this head, but I have some heavy gear, and this is not made for that...but it certainly could be anyone's primary head for lighter equipment. As I said...this is already on my travel tripod now.I think if you have a light rig set up...shooting video...this is a great accessory...it's small...tight...and will give you what you need in a small package.It attaches like any other head...just screw it on, and off you go.Great piece of kit...big thumbs up!!

Delivery was fast. Item very good quality. However it did not come with a travel pouch.

1. There is no way to secure the tripod head to the tripod except “Loctite”. It spins every time you rotate the scope.2. The ARCA dovetails will not close tight enough to secure a factory plate on a Vortex Viper spotting scope.

While not quite as perfect as a tripod fluid head - way more expensive - this SUNWAYFOTO pan/tilt head is an economical way to force a little more flexibility from a rigid tripod. It comes with two screws to fit most cameras attachment points (1/4x20 is far and away the most common), so it is readily adaptable to most camera types. It seems to hold a digital Nikon quite well, so smaller point and shoot or other digital cameras should not have mounting issues. It is well crafted from aluminum and should weather well. The quality of pictures is greatly enhanced with the use of a tripod (and fill-in flash, a topic for another review) if folks would just take the extra time to reduce hand-held camera shake. This is an excellent and economical way to acheive that increase in picture quality!
