The Dot Girl First Period Kit

I have been looking for one of these discreet little bags for my daughterI and came across this one. Moderately priced, I bought this just as a heads up...you know, just in case. My daughter, who is in middle school, read over the booklet and we discussed each page in depth. She was hesitant about reading it at first but, then enjoyed the conversation once we got into it. This will help her be prepared when the time comes so she will be a lot more confident with the upcoming situation.

This is a great little item. Bought it and my granddaughter keeps it in her school bag just in case. Comes with lots of information and supplies including a little heating pad type thing. Room enough for an extra pair of underwear.

I found myself down in a deep Pinterest rabbit hole one day and read some strange boards on what mothers do to prepare their daughters for their "magical," "mystical" etc "transition to womanhood." While most of them ranged from odd to downright weird (a 'period party.' Seriously.), one of them featured this item. I looked it up on the company's website and then bought it on Amazon (for the Prime free shipping). The kit is small, unassuming, and includes everything a tween would need (except for Motrin) for her first period. My daughter liked that she could carry it in her school backpack, and when it happened, she was prepared. She said the calendar and Q&A booklet were helpful and informative. The warming pad just takes up space (buy a small heating pad instead). Overall I'm glad that I got it for her. She's happy, and I didn't even have to throw a party.

HIghly recomend to have on hand for that first time. Came in very handy and well received by her.

Sent this to my neice for her first cycle. She loved it! Uses it to carry pads for the next time she gets her cycle.

I ordered this set for my 12 year old grand daughter who was so excited to get it. She carries it in her backpack at school and says it has been a "lifesaver". The zipper pouch is well made and holds sanitary supplies very discreetly, which is important to her. Overall a great product. I will be ordering again down the road for her sisters when they are ready.

Being a divorced my of three girls, my ex husband (not remarried) and my oldest daughter are terrified the "first" will happen she is with him overnight. After buying this product and giving it as a bday present, my daughter was just so relieved. I am thrilled she will have her supplies, in a near little way, for her special time. He is thrilled he won't need to make a run to a drug store and figure out what to do. I am thankful my daughter has the confidence she is ready no matter where it happens.
