A must for finding a zip at night
I really like these zipper pulls. Well made and glow at night. I have two tents kitted with these and also a sleeping bag zipper. Should have bought them a long time ago. Recommended.

Night aid
Quick delivery, well made and look quite robust. Yes they don't glow all night and not designed to. Exposed to bright light they really glow and gradually fade over a few hours. In total darkness it is enough to pick out even after two hours. Exposed to any light they will glow, even a torch light.Got these to attach to magnetic hooks to hold my trailer board cable....on the trailer, helps to ensure i don't miss recovering any magnets. At this price won't get to upset if some fail...ive seen some comments about not glowing all night, you can get some from Amazon that can, but they are over £10 each and not as robust....nice extra was the small kendal mint cake bar in the package (1"x2"). Kind of gives you an idea of the attitude of the company.Would recommend

Not so bright
Bought to use on zips on jacket (s).Disappointed as they are nowhere near as bright as I expected. They are visible from a short distance after an all day charge.I wouldn't rely on them to keep me safe in a dark environmentLook elsewhere is the advice I would give

A superior product to the cheap Chinese knock offs.
I work a lot in low light environments, both camping and night photography in the landscape, and I feel that the few poor reviews of this product are based on a fundamental lack of understanding.Like any glow in the dark product, that charges in daylight, there will be a drop in brightness over night. However, if you are working in the dark, that should be more than compensated for by your own visual adaptation to that darkness.I tested these zip pulls against some of my usual GITD marker solutions and these were up there with the very best. Far better than the slightly cheaper Chinese copies that I have seen on the market. These are made by a small British company that makes other innovative products too. I don’t mind that they are a bit more expensive, they are far superior.I purchased these to replace the zipper pulls on my sleeping bag system for an upcoming winter trip to the Arctic. We get very long dark nights and not particularly strong light during the day either. The tests I made give me confidence that these will serve their purpose well. After 12 hours in the dark, after only natural charging, they were still clearly visible to my dark adapted eyes. They do exactly what they are designed to do and they do it well.

Great For Lighting-Up Dark Tents
Having woken-up inside my hooped bivy, I panicked slightly in the dark coffin-like tent, as I was unable to find the zip-pull to allow me to exit. Eventually I was able to extricate myself from the tiny tent, but I began to wonder if there were anything on the market to improve my ability to see in the dark on future camping excursions. That's when I stumbled on these glow-in-the-dark zip pulls. I now have these on my bivy, as well as on my one- and two-man tents, and they do a great job of allowing me to find the exit easily on dark nights. Slightly brighter than cheaper similar products which I've also tried, just remember to shine a torch on them for a short while before sleeping, and they should give enough light for the night. Can also, of course, be used on other items - such as rucksacks, keyrings, jacket zips, etc. - to help you find them in the dark. Excellent product!
