Multifunction Pro Tool – Turbothrust Saw + 18 Accessories

I bought this with the intention of having one tool to do everything for a DIY bathroom refurbishment project. The reviews and adverts suggested it was capable and everything I thought I would ever need, they couldn’t have been more wrong.First off -out the box the quality wasnt particularly good, the thumb turn bolts snapped and one was missing altogeather for the depth gauge (I found another bolt I had at home to compromise) also it doesn’t come with a standard UK plug socket. It came with a 2 pin euro socket which meant I then had to go buy a 13amp adapter.I used it to cut out defective chipboard from the bathroom floor, the depth gauge was useful which stopped me cutting through the joists (this is why it gets 2 stars). It Cut through with ease but cutting action is clumsy and you will struggle to get a neat straight line as no matter how hard I tried it just kept drifting to one side.The choices of cutting pieces are good but it only works well in timber and plasterboard. The tile cutting pieces were no use whatsoever ever , even tho they are diamond tipped they just glowed and didn’t really cut through my porcelain tiles. The motor eventually burned out and now when it starts I’m getting a varied rpm, sounds like the speed of the motor varies up and down uncontrollably. I also noticed the cutting pieces (timber and tiles) have bend slightly giving a lot of vibration when cutting.Some good functions and maybe useful for very light DIY projects but generally this is the jack of all trades and it’s poor quality means it’s not suitable for half the things it claims it can do. I would definatley NOT recommend this product.

It had a two prong plug on it can not use it it should have come with three prong plug
