I got this yesterday and completed it today! I am a total beginner, so have no fear, you can do it! I was expecting for mine to look like a “Pinterest Fail” but somehow it doesn’t! The kit has everything you need. Directions are in a different language. The QR code does let you see a visual of it, which helps. I also looked up “beginning needle felting” on YouTube and watched a few ladies explain and demonstrate. That was very helpful. You get the feel of it very quickly! I managed not to break any needles. You don’t need to jab too hard. I did poke my fingers a few times! Tip: the yellow handled tool is for making holes for eyes and such. I thought it was a needle at first and tried to use it. Quickly realized it wasn’t felting and I needed to put the needle together!😂 It is hanging in my Christmas Tree now! Have fun! I’m off to order more!

The kit was cute, and quality was good for the price. However, the instructions were clearly written in another language and then POORLY translated into English. If you are a true beginner, they may be difficult to follow - plan on youtubing some things. Otherwise happy with the kit, and now that my daughter has figured it out how to do it, I would purchase this brand again. Also comes in a cute box, would make a sweet gift for a crafty, responsible (very sharp needles), young girl 8-12ish.

The instructions are a bit janky, because it’s the typical poorly translated stuff prevalent here on Amazon. However there are enough supplies to make two critters. I found the foam block too soft to make flat pieces, and the foam block got distorted after one creation. But it is a great kit to try out a new hobby without making too much of an investment. If you end up enjoying needle felting, I suggest getting an inexpensive wool block.

I wanted to try felting, thought this would be an easy start, however being a newbie the instructions aren’t very good. The video isn’t much better.

I liked this Kit, the instruction could be a little clearer but just Look at the YouTube Channel "Rabbit Strawberry tutorial wool felt, and you will get the idea of how to make the Duck even though it is not the exact same character, it teaches the basics and in conjunction with the instructions you will be able to master this felting project.
