Perfect for outdoor speakers
This is a nicely armoured cable, it feels very robust and certainly looks like it has been made well.I have used this to run speakers out to my cabin from the house and buried it close the the edges to minimise the chances of damage. The sound quality is perfectly acceptable and I have no issues with recommending this cable to anyone that needs an exterior solution.Nice and thick and strong, which at this price shows decent value for money.Literally no negatives here.5 stars!

Ideal for garden projects
Although advertised for speaker use I used this for a 24V DC outdoor garden lighting set up. Great quality outdoor cable that was easy to bury and work with.

Excellent outdoor cable
I got this speaker cable so that I have a speaker in the garden which is something I've wanted for sometime now.The speaker cable is well made, a good decent thickness and comes in a nice roll which is handy. Although the weather isn't great, I've still tested it out and it works well with great sound quality. Once the weather improves I plan on finalising my project.

Excellent outdoor cable
Pure copper cable is the ideal, but copper-clad aluminium wire is cheaper and more flexible. I help run a small community radio station and we needed to run a length of cable to the rear security door with intercom. The trouble was the cable we had wasn't suitable for outdoor use. This stuff comes with an extra sheath on the outside to protect it and it makes all the difference. It's very easy to work with - being aluminium makes it more flexible, so we could get it through the annoying nooks and corners necessary to get it installed. And it's working just fine.

Outdoor speaker cable.
Supplied on a 30mtr reel, this speaker cable from GearIT looks very good quality. The cable is rated for indoor and outdoor use, it has good outer insulation and two colour-coded cores (Red & Black) for easy identification when installing, it is also very flexible making installation a doddle. The cable strips well and solders without problem. My main intention for this cable is to use it in the car when installing audio, seeing as it is CCA (copper-coated aluminium) I may have to be cautious about corrosion.By all means not audiophile-grade cable but still does the job without the snake oil.Great value.

Corrodes and disintegrates extremely fast outdoors - useless!
I don't know what the issue with this is, but in less than a year, the exposed ends have corroded appallingly as many others have noted. Replaced much cheaper, non-outdoor spec copper wire that lasted for 10 years with no issues. It'll get replaced now with copper. If this gets even slightly damp, it's toast. Be nice to your speakers and don't let this stuff near them.
