Although you would want to use some pliers just to pull/screw the final little bit of connector onto cable to get the white centre core flush inside opening as this is a nice tight fit for this 7mm cable. Used with webro wf100 aerial cable from cable4you (cheap) the knipex coaxial cable stripper that cuts the exact length of outer and inner sheath in one go and the handy velcro underneath tool to comb back the outer wire strands ready for the f connector.Nice tight screw extender couplers (which seems to have copper contacts inside) that has the water proof rubber o rings inside. Very satisfied! Used to replace tv aerial cable section where pesky squirrels cut throgh cable

**Q: Will this work on cat6a cable**
A: Works fine on cat6 cable

**Q: Does anyone know what the small velcro patch on the bottom of this is for please?**
A: The velcro patch is used for back combing the braid once the insulation has been stripped off.  You can of course do this by hand also but doing with the velcro strip does a neater job

**Q: Could this be used to remove the outer insulation of 3 core mains cable or the insulation from the 3 inner cores?**
A: Designed for coax and data cables, but probably work with smaller round 3 core flex. Probably no to 1.5mm2 3core

**Q: Will it cut the two different depths for a sky twin cable connection**

I would give this tool 6x stars if I could. It performs its function flawlessly every time. Design and materials are excellent. Feels nice in the hand also. PSA: the function of the little velcro hooks on the bottom is for dressing the cable by using it as a comb to unravel twisted copper braid if applicable to your cable/termination type.
