It picks up pet and human hair brilliantly, no particular force is required, just a gentle pressure is enough. We had no issues whatever with any parts falling off and such like, as posted in some other reviews. Lint is easy to peel off the roller, which is much better than those sticky rollers (icky and need constant peeling off the sticky paper, before breaking altogether) or the gel rollers that you need to keep covered else they dry out and become useless. This one can be used again and again, just take the lint off and that's it.The shaver is even more impressive. Easily lifts what's left after the roller picked up the long and fine hairs - ingrained dirt, loosened carpet fibres where the cat scratched the carpet, those edges near walls impossible to properly clean even with the vacuum hose, and the inside line of the stair treads which was triggering everyone who tries to vacuum the stairs in our house. It really looked like we've had the carpet professionally cleaned. I think if we do put a wet-dry carpet vac on it now, it'll look like a new carpet. We were really stunned how this small thing can work so well. Value for money-wize it's incredible. Looks sturdy enough for a long use. It's immensely satisfying and even oddly therapeutic to see your carpet becoming clean with so little effort. Can definitely recommend.

I have 2 german shepherd dogs and needed these for my carpets more than anything. It took a while to do my lounge and stairs. The plastic gadget is a little flimsy and I had to hold the compartment shut but it did work. I used the "shaver" first then went over with the other item as it picks up the fur on the surface of the carpet. I did get a blister on my finger but even a week later my stairs still look good. I wish the rest of my family would give it a go and help me out. Overall very happy with the product.

Quite a useful gadget if you don't mind using it on your hands and knees to clean rugs/carpet. Picks up a lot of hair then easy to open the lid and hoover out. All was going well until one of the wheels came off! Needless to say can't find it.

We are a hairy family when it comes to pets, 3 cats and 2 Jack Russell's and they all shed like crazy and my hoover just wasn't picking them up - then I found this magical product by accident and it is a game changer, easy to use with a fantastic result!

The white and blue roller takes a knack to get going, gold brush broke the same day as getting it, 1 of the gold sided kept sliding off. Poor quality and not worth it
