Great investment
A great investment for my candle making business. Saves me lots of time!! Easy to use. Just fill with wax and turn on. No hassle. Easy pouring.

LOVE THIS!!
I love this for melting beeswax to pour for candles. I use the spout to pour into a big measuring cup to actually pour candles because it is a low spigot. I love how fast it heats up and does not "cook" the wax, it never gets darker if left on. Great value for the price!

Ya put a solid n and get a liquid out!!!
We mess around and make candles. We started with like a dbl broiler method. But u saw thus and had to get it. Well the wife decided to start the process without me and didn't realize that the spout could might be open. She walked away snd there was2.5 #s of wax flowing on the floor!!! BWAHAHAHA. I loved so hard. But really this thing wo rks fast. I would probably put another spout in it b4 to long those. It's kinda Chingy and the cors could b longer too.

Life changer!
Honestly I didn’t think I’d need something like this but wow it really made my life easier. It heats up really quick and holds a ton. Definitely recommend!

Might just melt your heart
I had the opportunity to compare two different models of wax melting pots side-by-side - this being the larger and more expensive model of the two.The melting pot came well packed and assembly was easy with the attachment of the spigot to the front of the pot with a single nut. A wrench for the nut was included, which I always appreciate. The spigot is heavy duty, all metal and did not leak when water testing the pot.Initially, I had two concerns with the design of this pot:1. The small size of the attached feet make the spigot sit low which I thought might make pouring difficult.2. The spigot outlet on the interior of the pot sits quite a bit higher than the bottom of the pot meaning there is the potential for a significant amount of waste once the level of wax falls below the bottom of the outlet. In use, however, neither of these initial concerns proved to be an issue. The pot heats up quickly and had my soap melting almost immediately. No doubt the same would be the case for candle wax. The heat controls could be a little more precise to help avoid flashing out your EOs/fragrances, but they were still easy to use - very much like the older style crockpots and electric fryers. I kept it on the lowest setting which was enough to keep my soap just over melt without scalding it.To address my first concern, I placed the melting pot on a butcher's block with my soap mold underneath. This was actually the perfect height, so my first concern was sufficiently addressed. Pouring the melted soap was super easy by simply opening the spigot. When fully opened, the spigot allowed for a nice steady pour without any splashing or risk of overflow. When fully closed, there were zero drips after the pour.My second concern was the amount of potential waste given the placement of the spigot above the floor of the pot. Happily, I found that tilting the pot, as one would naturally do, allowed enough flow to almost completely empty the pot - only about 2 Tbsp remained which I feel is absolutely acceptable. The pot is teflon coated and the chamfer from the sidewall to the floor is wide enough to make cleaning the pot really easy and fast. I simply brought the remaining soap back up to its melt point, then unplugged the pot and wiped it with a few paper towels. I then ran hot water through it with the spigot open and that was it.Of the two melting pots I tested, this was hands-down the superior model. It's not 100% perfect, but it's close enough to earn 5 stars. It was super easy to use and will help make our soap and candle making much faster and more enjoyable.

Temperature control
This wax melter does a great job of melting the wax but unfortunately I think the temperature gauge is off and I can’t even get the temperature low enough to what I need without the melter turning off. I want to return this but now I have wax in it. I would have much rather used my $80 towards a better product. I’m going to try and get a candy thermometer to see if I can figure out the proper reading and see if I can get it low enough to what I need.

Easy and fun!
Ok, I'm having a blast with this thing!!I've always always wanted to make candles, and this setup is perfect. It's easy to use, the learning curve is short, and you can use pretty much any kind of wax. I have a friend who makes a lot of candles come when I first got it, and she was really impressed by this, especially for the money. Her setup doesn't do anything that this doesn't, and she paid a lot more. Would this work for someone running a candle business? Probably in the beginning, it seems robust enough and you can do a lot with it. Most likely if you are running a business you would eventually want a bigger pot and stuff, but this definitely would be good for anything from an ammy doing stuff for fun, up to a small business. The temperature seems to work well, this is easy to clean, I'm just impressed!

Good quality large size
This wax melter feels like lightweight aluminum but is heavy duty. You have to assemble the legs and spigot. It’s is very easy to do. It came with a small wrench to tighten the nuts for the legs and larger nut for the spigot. It is very solid and sturdy. This pot has a nice clear glass lid with steam hole and fits well. Spigot is metal, sealed well and does not leak. This melting pot heats up slowly more like a crock pot. I am a newbie to soap making and this pot will hold a lot more wax than my small double boiler and is more accurate. This will save time as I don’t have to make numerous batches. The spigot makes it easier to pour which I appreciate. You may want to raise the pot up to be able to get your molds under the spigot or you have to position the spigot over the edge of your counter or table. You have to tilt the pot forward to get all the wax out since the spigot is not located all the way to the bottom. Not a biggie but thought it should be mentioned. Easy to wipe out and clean. Watch the spigot as residual wax can accumulate and make a clog. Just make sure it’s clear before next use and you are good. Overall, I am impressed with this product. It will make my hobby easier and it seems to be of good quality.
