I've been trying to find out as well. It seems to be it's own proprietary type of USB cable because mini and micro do not fit at all, at least not mine. Maybe they made an updated version with different cable. **Q: Can the controller be reset? One day into use and it only goes in circles. Not sure what's going on.** A: We had this issue too. It’s like it lost connection and is stuck on the last command it was given. We removed the battery in the remote and then put it back in and it reset and works fine. **Q: Does it work on normal hot wheels track?** A: It does! We've made lots of different tracks for our remote control Hot Wheels! You just have to slow down around curves or they fly off lol **Q: Can you use more than 1 car at once or do they interfere with each other?** A: We've played with 4 different remote control Hot Wheels and they work fine together ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great toy for all ages *by A***Y on January 11, 2026* This is a great toy for everyone from my 4 year old grandson to my 50 year old husband. It’s easy to use and control and maneuver. It’s a regular size Hot Wheels. It’s a great value for the money with the fun it provides. I wish the battery lasted longer but that’s really the only downside. Overall great purchase. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ My son loves it! *by C***Y on January 22, 2025* I purchased this for my son and he loves it! He like RC cars but loses interest quickly due to how slow they are or they are a lot to carry around. This was perfect! The size or a hot wheel and pretty fast for the size! I bought another for his Dad to race with him! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Really fun *by E***N on November 21, 2024* I used to have as zip zap as a kid and wanted to find something similar. Didn’t really expect much from this originally, and even after using it for a little bit. It’s a lot of fun though and my cats like it too. But actually being able to control a hot wheels car is an awesome feeling. The front wheels are just a straight axle with standard hot wheels plastic wheels and the back have bi directional rubber wheels. It’s very drifty and awkward but once I got the hang of it, I’ve been having a blast with it. The little boost button is great for jumps and going over some low carpets lol ## Frequently Bought Together - Hot Wheels Toy Car, RC C8 Corvette in 1:64 Scale, Remote-Control Vehicle with Controller & USB Cable, Works On & Off Track - Hot Wheels RC Toy Car, Full-Function Remote-Control 1:64 Scale Ford Mustang, Booster Button to Race & Stunt On- or Off-Track, Recharge with USB Cable --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.ma/products/490267677-toy-car-rc-c8-corvette-in-1-64-scale-remote](https://www.desertcart.ma/products/490267677-toy-car-rc-c8-corvette-in-1-64-scale-remote) --- *Product available on Desertcart Morocco* *Store origin: MA* *Last updated: 2026-10-21*
