works well
Works really well even on ultem 1010 out of a stratasys 450mc. Wouldn't plug into a computer\laptop USB port but use a USB charger. 2amp chargers make it really hot. The one tool is a little flimsy but just being careful with it (if they made the one tool less flimsy it would be to big for purpose) very pleased

Even better than I expected!
Great product - much better build quality than I was expecting, and really useful set of attachments that help eradicate all those printing glitches with almost trivial ease. Arrived very promptly too!Slight gripe about the amount of packaging, but it is all recyclable - I just wish they'd used less plastic; even though it can be recycled, recycling still consumes energy and other resources, it's not a silver bullet. Paper would be far less harmful to the environment, particularly should it end up in landfill.

Works, needs practice to use effectively, build quality not all it probably should be.
Does what it says on the er... packaging. However this device is very flimsy - for hobbyist use this isn't necessarily a problem but I suspect that extended use will result in the nibs breaking, most especially the blade style nib as even relatively gentle use causes it to bend. The contact pins on 3 of the 4 nibs was deformed on delivery in such a way they would not insert into the main housing until this was rectified with a small diameter pin and a pair of pliers. All that said with a bit of care the tool allows you to produce some interesting effects on 3d prints, although probably more suited to larger more solid mechanical parts. Thin walled (.4mm or less) high detail prints are hard to work with probably due to the lack of accurate temperature control of the nib.Due to the temperature of the nib I would be very careful using this with ABS, if at all (i'm not), due to the possibility of residue building up on the nib and catching fire! Ventilation is really very much needed while using this!

faulty
didn't work out of the box and the tips were damaged so they wouldn't fit. the tip that came on the device was stuck on and had to be pulled of with unnecessary force. returned.

Works
A bit flimsy in the fittings for the tool so you have to be careful when changing tips or they break but does the job and is convenient when needed as it plugs into a usb port.

Run too hot for most £D prints and no temp control makes the product very limited
This product is just Ok, the build quality is not great ( the first sent just did d not heat Up). I will keep but as per other reviewers the lack of temperature control makes its use very limited. The manufacturers web site proudly promotes that the tool heats up to 300c in 15 seconds. Not particularly useful when sculpting plastic with a 180 -220 melting temp. Would be so much better if the temp was either restricted or controlled. I found switching on then allowing to cool slightly with power off to use was better but not ideal. I will keep for that odd needed occasion only.
