Pure quality
I have always wanted a OLIGHT flashlight and the Baton3 does not disappoint. Everything about it is extremely well made. The packaging and instructions impressed me so much that I plan to give this as a gift to other. Using the flashlight is very easy with three brightness settings and also a turbo option for extra brightness. Brightness options are perfect for this size flashlight. Carrying in a pocket is easy with the provided clip. The magnetic charging cable is going to be great for keep this thing ready to go when I need it.

Great light, very, very bright on highest setting.
This light is bigger than the little guy I had previously, the Baton 3 1200 lumens. The Baton 1200 lumens is smaller, fits neatly in any pocket and I found it very useful. This larger Baton 3, I use as a regular flash light without the bulk of a household flashlight. It has 3 brightness settings, a circular charge cap/usb charge cable and on the lowest setting the battery lasts a long time. I use mine typically several times a day and I haven't recharged it in over a month. I'm sure at the brightest setting it would require charging more often. It has a magnet on the end so if you need to be hands free, also a pocket type clip. That said, it is a longer, heavier one than the smaller 1200 lumens, but is fantastic when you need a much brighter light. On the highest setting it is very, very bright. This Baton 3, 1500 lumens is heavier, bigger, brighter and it is very well made. Definitely worth the money I'm glad I purchased it.

Best light I’ve ever had!
Small enough to carry every day, but powerful enough to light up the house when a hurricane hits. I’ve used this on so many projects, I can’t list them all. I love the recharge system and them being magnetic. I’ve bought half a dozen for my family! The clip is strong and you can flip it or use it as a head lamp with a baseball cap. The value can’t be beat.

Very Good Flashlight But A Bit Overhyped
Admittedly, this is one of the best general purpose flashlights on the market. It has alot going for it, including the magnetic charging, very intuitive interface, nice beam shape, useful brightness modes, instant access to moonlight & turbo, the ability to tailstand, and a choice of tints and body colors. Even the way the emitter fades in and out when switching modes gives it a high-end feel. However, I don't think the Baton 3 Pro lives up to the marketing hype from the company about being a significant upgrade from the last generation S2R II. In some ways, I actually prefer the older model. Yes, the Baton 3 Pro lasts twice as long in the moonlight mode, but that's because they dimmed it down to less than half the brightness of the S2R II. The medium mode is also dimmer, which is why it lasts 3-4 hours longer. In other modes, the S2R II actually runs longer, and regardless of what the specs say, the turbo modes on these 2 lights are virutally identical. To me, the button on S2R II actually feels better, it's slightly lighter weight, a touch shorter, and the output on the modes I use most often are actually brighter and more useful. Flashlight reviews on the web bare most of this out. While I can't directly fault the Baton 3 Pro as having any serious flaws in it's own right, I think it could be better in some areas. First of all, I wish they would offer Neutral White for all the available body colors. Secondly, I think the mode spacing is a bit strange. The moonlight and low modes are pretty good (0.5 & 15 lumens) but then it jumps up to 120 and then way up to 600. I feel like they missed an in-between mode somewhere, like it should have something in the 40-80 range or around 300 like the mini Baton 3, which I find extremely useful. Also, I find it odd that the 1500 lumen mode only lasts a couple minutes. I'd rather have say 10-20 minutes of 800 or 1,000 lumens than 2 minutes of 1500 lumens. If it's a safety/heat issue, then maybe they should back off a bit anyway. Finally, there's the weight. I find the Baton 3 Pro (and the S2R II) a bit too heavy for everyday carry using the standard 18650 battery. However, I discovered an amazing but simple workaround. Simply drop in the Olight 18350 battery made for the Seeker flashlight (1100mAh) along with a 16340 spacer/dummy cell purchased on eBay and it's a perfect fit! Still lasts long enough for my purposes (about 1/3 runtime) and it feels so much lighter and agile. If I have a longer runtime application, I can always revert back to the original battery.

Flashlight nerd here, one of my GoTos!
I've used a host of Every Day Carry flashlights over many years, from the original 3xD battery original Mag Light to the original keychain one that predates the LED version. Moved up in knowledge and experience and this current Flashlight is extremely durable, long lasting, with outstanding lighting performance at all settings. I've dropped this 5+ times from 4ish feet minimum onto concrete and there's barely any scuff marks. It does everything you want a small powerful flashlight to do and it does it better than many other options.

Perfect size
I liked how there is a series of different button pushing for different light modes. You an go directly to whichever mode by number of presses or holding the button. This is a BIG light in a small size and very well made. I got it from one of my daughters for Father's Day and if I would have shopped for one myself, this is the one I would have bought.
