I love these shelves - as you can position the shelves on whatever height setting you desire (using the notches and plastic collars. I personally make sure I have a shelf at the highest setting, and the vary the height of the other shelf/ves to suit my requirement. I love this shelf so much I have many! They also do a light load baring shelf that has coaster wheels which is awesome too - if you need to move the shelf. Only downside is the dimensions are different for the model with wheels compared to the shelf with just adjustable feet. **Q: How much can you adjust the feet by? I want to use in my kitchen but have a slight step on one side (about 8cm).** A: If you want to be a bit smart about it, you could deliberately mismatch the height of the shelf brackets on each side (which would normally make the shelf a slope), but keep the shelves level, so that the poles actually sit higher on one side to match your step. Between the shelf adjustments and the feet adjustments, I'm sure you could make that work. The only thing is that you'd end up with higher poles sticking out the top of the unit, above the step. Value for money ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ I don’t understand all the fuss! *by I***S on 27 June 2025* I read all the reviews of this and was expecting it to be an absolute nightmare to build, but if you ignore the terrible instructions and use your brain and/or one of the many videos on YouTube, it takes minutes for someone like me, who is, as you’re about to learn, one of the most ham-fisted imbeciles to ever grace the surface of this green earth. All you do is screw the feet into the holes. They can’t go anywhere else except for where they’re designed to go. You then get two sides of a clip and look at them. They have the word TOP and an arrow stamped on them. TOP and the arrow goes upwards. You then count as many segments as you want to up one of the legs, and put two halves of a clip around it. Push it down until it clicks into place. Do that in the same place on each leg and the slide a shelf onto it. Do this again with each shelf. Brain surgery this isn’t. Now, remember how I mentioned my own raving ineptitude earlier? Well, when I was fixing the first shelf into place, I was much too heavy-handed with it and managed to actually bend it and break some of the welding. So be careful. Tap the shelves into place using a rubber mallet or something instead of what I did and used my entire body weight to push down and sort of jump it into place. These shelves are strong enough but they aren’t magic. If you, as I clearly do, weigh about the same as a blue whale but have the brainpower of one of the krill they feed upon, please note my comments. Anyway it looks pretty decent and it doesn’t cost much. It feels strong and sturdy enough.
