perfect and is large enough to take the whole 3 ...
I bought this to go with my water distilling machine....perfect and is large enough to take the whole 3 plus litres. Pours well into the glass bottles we have for the fridge. Perfect!

Thin glass makes these delicate
The thin glass used in these is good for heat transfer but becomes a problem with larger vessels and it is easy to put a stirring rod through the base

It's perfect as far as I am concerned
I bought this to measure out my liquid weedkiller concentrate with reasonable accuracy for my pressure sprayer. Glass always seems more substantial than a plastic measure somehow. It's shape also makes it very stable when measuring out because the last thing you want is to be spilling or splashing around some of the chemicals contained in really strong weedkillers. It's perfect as far as I am concerned.

Unreliable due to cracking after using it only twice
Seriously dissatisfied with this beaker. Cracked around the bottom after only 2 uses. There was no excess heat nor any sudden strikes that could have been the cause of the crack, it just pinged loudly and I was real lucky the bottom never fell out as it was full of gold in solution (approx 2 to 3 grams) and it could've turned into a real expensive failure.
