What can I say, they do the job intended.

I needed 4 of these clips, and as I've said in the headline, perhaps it was my fault. One of the clips broke which maybe due to me over tightening? One of the wires snapped where it is hooked over the plate but the remaining wire held the hose in place. No doubt the seller would have replaced had I contacted them, but I didn't feel it necessary. I'm not one of these that will use every negative adjective possible in their feedback which usually says more about the buyer than the seller or product! Just be careful and don't over tighten! The other three went on great :-)

Item came with hose pipe and was packaged better than the hose, delivered on time. This type of clip is best used on the pond hose pipe and has done the job it was intended for very well.

Item is on the left in the photo. The slot in the head is too shallow to use and the head of the bolt is very small to get a socket onto. As this was going to be used on a hose connection for a pond pump where you will eventually need a good purchase on the bolt to undo it was not really fit for the purpose. Beside it is a stainless steel version at half the cost.

Does the job

these looked exactly what I needed. Some real mixed reviews but thought I would give them a go anyway. Arrived early which was a bonus but unfortunately the good finishs right there. Poor deisgn which do not clamp all the way down like others have said. I really got it as tight as possible but there where leaks on all the pipe work I had using these clamps. There was no way to improve the problem. The design is very weak and was just crushing down on two sides of the pipe before it then tries to embed in to the pipes. So basicly a waste of time. Invest in some decent Jubilee clips or even better some decent stainless T-bar clamps. Well worth the little extra in costs.

Upgraded to 5 stars as I disconnected a lot of my pond pipework to alter some routing these have either been submerged or open to the elements and still work as well as they did when I fitted them about 2 years ago. Bought for a new fish pond pipework set up I used most of these and the smaller sized ones I have used various hose clips over the years but this is the first time that I have only needed to tighten once for no leaks and not one stripped the thread when tightening
