Great bit of kit
Simple and sturdy. I've used these as part of a kit build for my audio equipment. Worth every penny.

A much more reliable alternative...
to the cold shoe fittings found on the camera cage. Thankfully I no longer risk accessories slipping from my rig as opposed to the built in cold shoe's on the rig frame. I have noticed that the video rig chassis expands/contracts due to fluctuating temperatures. These mounts are made of a better alloy so the equipment locks tight and stays put! Those tiny screws don't fit my rig frame even though it is the same brand, hence the 4 stars. Splitting hairs really

It's a shame that camera cages don't include such additions out of the box. Good built quality, easy to use.

Top quality engineering
Top quality engineering and finish for these cold shoes. Solid aluminium. Could not be better. Even have a slight taper in the shoe so that your foot tightens as you slide it in - and it will not slip out of the other side. Comes with 1/4 inch Whitworth screw and two small bolts with Allun Keys. Very professional product. Can be fixed to other kit or an aluminium bar to allow mounting of accessories to your own design / configuration.

Way way better than the plastic ones.
Like most SmallRig products, this is a quality item. All Quality aluminium, good srew options, I like the direction arrow's as it saves fiddling in a rush or low light! Hood price too!

Bought for Blackmagic
I bought these so I could attach a mic to my Blackmagic camera.The build is solid, not cheap flimsy metal and the screws can be tightened and loosened easily enough with the key. There is little to go wrong with these as they act like regular hot shoes found on DSLRs if a little chunkier in appearance.I do have a problem with customers being charged £10.30 for these - that is very overpriced in my opinion. I bought them at £9 for 2 and I still think that is very expensive hence the loss of 1 star.
