Perfect for my application
Fit like a glove and replaced the old usb/headjack on the boat and added some extra features.

Perfect for my application
I was looking for a port for a computer I’m building in a waterproof box. The computer is a raspberry pi 5. This port keeps all my external wiring neat and there is only one hole in the case on the side.

Awesome Idea
Great idea but had to return it. The diameter was too large to fit my cigarette lighter socket.

Not for cigarette lighter port
Although the cables are the correct size and seem to work the housing is a massive 40mm wide which is rather large for a dashboard application and/or cigarette lighter location. The fastening nuts that are included in the bag are only 25mm wide so, they definitely do not fit the housing. Result =. Returned product.

Works Great
Purchased this to pair with my Sony XAV-AX5600. Because the unit has 2 USB pigtails and HDMI input I wanted to get an extension. On the unit it self only 1st USB is designated for AA with 1.5 outage and 2nd USB soly for MEDIA 0.5 outage.I figured I could pair the higher voltage usb with a splitter from this extension to power both my R4 and AA, however it seems it will only do one or the other so I may have to figure out a different method as the 2nd USB doesn't have enough voltage to power the R4.Overall works as expected and look forward to buying again for further projects

Bulkier than the pictures look, tight ports, and might have damaged my KVM
First of all, the photos of this adapter don't do a good job portraying its size; this thing is enormous, with the cables connected to it being fairly long but also thick. While on paper this looks like a good fit for installing a Raspberry Pi or similar inside of a case, the cable size alone will make it a bit hard to fit everything in unless your case is larger than you might otherwise expect to be required.More concerning is how tight the fit is for the cables - both inserting a USB device into the ports and inserting the usb cables into the ports of other devices don't feel as smooth as they really should be.Most concerning, though, is that this might be responsible for damaging a USB-C KVM I was testing it with. To test the capabilities of the USB-C, I plugged the USB-C into a full-featured port on a mini-PC I use for testing and the other end into the KVM. All seemed well for a few seconds... but then the PC powered off and I couldn't get any power out of the USB-C port of the KVM (even after removing this extender from the equation and switching to a different mini-PC). Fortunately, it must have just been a self-resetting fuse going off or something since the KVM was working normally again by the next morning, but it's still significant enough that I don't think I will be using the USB-C port on this for anything other than non-negotiated power again (if I use it at all-it's too bulky to fit where I originally bought it to go)
