I stopped drinking caffeine when it started effecting an ulcer in my stomach. My daughter introduced me to PGTips and I have been drinking it for years now. When company comes over I get so many compliments on the fresh brewed iced tea! I have to tell them, “it’s decaf!,”and they find it hard to believe!🤷‍♀️😊 it’s just that good 👍🏻

This is my personal favorite decaf black tea. Here is why:Strong, bold flavor -- The flavor is very strong and bold. It appears as if each tea bag contains more tea leaves than almost any of the other tea brands on American shelves -- I've tried them all. At the same time, I've never experienced a bitter or unpleasant taste, even if squeeze the bag out (I know this is sacrilege in some cultures!). If you are going to drink black tea without caffeine, it needs to have a strong flavor. Well, here you go.Low waste -- This is just a big paper box full of paper tea bags. No strings. No stupid staples. You don't get 70 plastic foil wrappers that you have to throw away. Whatever problems the strings and staples are finding solutions for just never seemed to bother me. You'll probably be fine too. Maybe unless your house is a restaurant?Cool name -- PG Tips. Now you have a new nickname for all of your British friends. Enough said.

Enjoy this tea. Not happy that when the item was received (3 boxes) top of one of the boxes was broken open.

One of the best decaf teas around. It makes a robust cup of tea. Much better than any American brands.

I bought 6 boxes of the “new” bags. They have no flavor. In the past PG Tips decaf was called ‘The Tasty Decaf’ right on the box and it was. Full-bodied and very consistent. I started the new box today and did a side by side comparison. It’s much weaker, so if I have to use two bags to get a good cuppa where is the value? (The cup on the left is the old decaf. The cup on the right is the new decaf, much lighter in color)

The tea is still just as tasty, but now the flat bags block the spout when I pour out of my teapot. Also - the flat bags look like all others, so no longer easily able to distinguish them from other brands/flavors.
