They are meant for embroidery. Wouldn’t risk using them on Jersey that needs ballpoint needle, blue needles are not ballpoint.

No , they are designed for embroidery on embroidery machines. Other use is to stop skipped stitches when joining 2 fabrics edge to edge such as fleece or batting., when making a bigger piece out of smaller pieces.

Any make Quilting needles are used for quilting. The pack should say Quilting needles on it. Janome blue needles are for machine embroidery.

Work a treat, i had some issues with stretch fabrics where the needles i had wasnt picking up the bobbin thread, even with these I still had minor issues. The way i got around it in the end is by dampening the stretch fabric, doing that never missed a stitch
