My Son Loves It!
I got the Aero big wheel scooter for my one of my youngest, and it’s been a huge hit. He rides it every chance he gets—around the neighborhood, to soccer practice and more. Love the convenience of folding it, which makes it easier to store. It’s smooth, sturdy, and easy to control, which makes me feel good about his safety. The design is perfect. Overall, a great value and purchase, that gets a lot of use and big smiles!

Very good scooter for big/tall guy
I'm not a small guy (over 6'4 feet and nearly 250 lbs) and I feel like a kid riding this thing. Rides & glides very smooth and has a slight suspension which makes for a smooth ride over sidewalks and slightly uneven terrain. Built solid. Disc brake works pretty well. Folds down and unfolds positively and easily. I'm really happy with it, and can ride around with my kid, or even run quick errands in my neighborhood. The first person I showed it to thought it was an electric scooter. If I had two bits of feedback:1. the footbed is slightly too short, my shoes are size US 14+ and I find it hard to get both feet comfortably on the platform, they really feel jammed on there. If it was a little longer it would be much more comfortable having both feet on there.2. Ride height: you can't go over a 1" concrete bump without the bottom shock absorber (which lives underneath the footbed) getting caught on it. I wish the wheels were a little taller or the ride height a little taller so that you could clear those kinds of bumps more easily. (granted you have to be careful going over a 1" bump, gotta pop up and lean back, and go at sufficient speed anyway, otherwise you can get thrown).

4/5 stars -1 for the handbrake being pretty crappy.
The media could not be loaded. The wheels are nice and the scooter cannot be easily folded while driving. The construction is solid and looks nice. My only knock is that the handbrake controls a thin smooth piece of metal that presses against the back wheel to slow down the scooter but this design is not very effective and will only work at low speeds. For an $80 scooter you would think that a disc brake design could be provided. I also worry that the brake setup will wear down the wheel rubber thereby creating an unsafe condition or unusable scooter. As of right now I would still give 4 stars as it gets me from the parking lot at work to the entrance quickly and it’s manual so I don’t have to worry about charging or facility rules on electric devices.Note you will want a lock that goes through the wheels if you plan toLock it outside.

Quality is lacking, issues in two separate devices
Edit after interaction with their support team:First, thanks Amazon, I got a free replacement. But it had all the same problems. But then, with help from the vendor support , I was able to work through understanding my issues.Long story short, besides the inaccurate setup docs, none of my original issues are actually problems using the scooter. The “play” in steering doesn’t present itself during actual use. The resistance to steering goes away after a little use, they just have the head tube torced pretty tight. And the rubbing with the disc brake goes away after a little use. I’m sure I could adjust it away completely, but not a big dealI think they suffer from some “first impression” issue they need to work on, but this is actually a quality piece of scouter engineering.<original review>First impressions were not great. The instructions for assembly don't match the state of the scooter when it is shipped. Instructions show handlebar attached and it's not. And there is no info on how to do that. But at least that you can figure out with some googling.Of more importance were three defects, two in assembly and one is design. The front steering is very stiff and not at all smooth. At first I could barely rotate it by hand. It kind of "grinds" as if the bearings aren't smooth or perhaps the steerer tube is tightened too much. The other is there is significant left/right "play" in the front steering, apparently introduced by the front suspension assembly. I see a good 1/4 inch of play each direction holding the handbags still. I haven't tried riding at any speed with this, but it seems that could introduce dangerous wobble at speed. Finally, out of the box, the rear disc brake rubs against the break pads, significantly increasing rolling resistance. It didn't look warped, but something is causing contact at some parts of the rotation. I might be able to make adjustments for that, but that ought to be done at the factory, before shipping. This is not like wholesale bicycle that will go through setup at the retail store before use.And the bad news, all this was not a one off. I immediately ordered a replacement which arrived quickly (thanks Amazon) and had exactly the problems, in fact worse with the brake rubbing. I didn't even finished unboxing that one, since it was worse than the original. Now I have to decide to put up with it or return it and go through the research all over again for a higher quality adult scooter. What a waste of time.

The Ultimate Scooter Experience
I got this scooter for my 10-year-old son. He got it and installed by himself very quickly and enjoy the ride within a few minutes. The straightforward instructions made it easy to put together. My son likes this scooter because of its ability to glide effortlessly and quietly across concrete surfaces. The large wheels absorb bumps and cracks with ease, providing a smooth and stable ride that my son thoroughly enjoys.Folding up the scooter makes it easy to put in the back of the car or hold it to go up and down the stairs. The efficient hand brakes offer responsive stopping power, so bring a peace of mind knowing my kid can brake safely whenever needed, especial to a kid who does not like wearing the helmet. The Rock-solid kickstand is strong, no wobbling or tipping over, hopefully my son will get used to using it a lot because I can't stand all the scooters dropped on the grass. The sleek and appealing design has won over my son's heart. From the color to the ergonomic handlebars, every aspect of the scooter is thoughtfully crafted to appeal to young riders.Bottom line: The Aero Big Wheel Kick Scooter for Kids gets a big thumbs up from both me and my son. It's been a hit since day one, and I don't see that changing anytime soon. If you're in the market for a solid scooter that'll keep your kid rolling in style, this is the one to get.
