If you recently bought one of the new breed of laptops known as ‘Ultrabooks’, you no doubt had that moment where you bought it home, unboxed it and after staring at it’s ultra-chic lines and shininess, realised with horror that the only connectivity is has is a couple (or, shock horror, even a single) USB-C port. To make matters worse, you probably own precisely zero in the way of devices equipped with USB-C connectors, so what on earth were you going to do with this shiny but connectivity-stunted new laptop?Of course, I’m writing this from experience after my other half bought a similarly equipped Ultrabook recently (without my input) and was all happy with it until she realised she needed to connect something with a USB-A connector to it, so I set out to see if there was something in the way of port replicator/docking station thingies that would give her the extra ports she needed and, of course, stumbled across this particular USB-C hub.This is a great and very compact little device that plugs into a USB-C port on her Ultrabook and gives her three USB 3.0 ports, an HDMI-out, an SD Card slot and a Micro-SD Card slot. Furthermore, just in case your Ultrabook has a single USB-C port which doubles-up as the power/charging port, the hub has a USB-C port on it for that purpose.In practise, it works perfectly. Upon plugging it into her laptop for the first time, Windows 10 detected it right away and set it up in a few moments. After that, devices that are plugged into any of the ports on the hub are detected properly and work as expected.The device itself is actually really nice - it’s made from machined aluminium so it’s quite tactile and goes some way to show why it’s a fairly expensive little gadget. It also comes with a little velvet pouch to keep it in when you’re taking it with you on your travels.Overall, my other half is really pleased with this thing, which is of course the best bit of it all.

Ok, I've just plugged it in. But This is so well made, matches the look of my MacBook Pro and has just the right ports to make it a powerful multimedia beast again. Nice little indicator light showing that it's connected. Gets very warm, but so I've read they all do, especially when charging through them.Also, the placement of the USB-C is right, as it feels like something in the charging chain instead of a dongle.Edit: After 3 months, this has become invaluable. I made the right desicion on this one. Gets warm when charging and running external monitor, but doesn't seem to be an issue at all.

Es un gatchet necesario, de hecho si tienes un MacBook, MacBook Pro de última generación será imprescindible en muchas ocasiones... Su acabado es pulido y de calidad, viene con una funda, se nota que su construcción será duradera... aunque eso habrá que verlo. Sería un producto mejor si el cable que incorpora pudiera extraerse para evitar futuras roturas (doblarlo, al guardarlo en su funda, etc). Hasta ahora no he tenido problemas y me va genial con mi MacBook Pro

Lo sto testando da un paio d'ore con 2 hard disk (uno alimentato ed uno no) ed ho fatto anche una prova con una scheda micro sd e mi sembra che tutto funzioni bene e velocemente. Non riscalda come mi è successo con Hub USB di altre marche.Per quanto riguarda l'estetica per il momento mi sento di dire che è molto ben fatto e curato, anche il cavo che presenta è bello grosso. Nella parte inferiore presenta dei gommini che lo rendono stabile e salda alla superficie di appoggio.Per quanto riguarda la durabilità non posso ancora valutarla.Lo ricomprerei.

Probabilmente va bene se deve gestire poche periferiche, però se colleghi un monitor 2k, un mouse, una tastiera e una scheda audio esterna ci sono diversi problemi:- i comandi della tastiera arrivano in ritardo (significativo! a volte ripete la stessa lettera all'infinito. Inserita la tastiera su una porta usb del PC questo problema non si presenta)- si verificano dei rumori durante la riproduzione audio come se ci fossero delle serie interferenze.Compratelo se vi serve per collegare qualche periferica esterna (mouse+tastiera+qualche chiavetta USB), altrimenti puntate su altro.

Nach der Enttäuschung mit einem anderen ähnlichen Hub, der einen schnarchlangsamen USB 2.0 Cardreader integriert habe ich nun diesen QacQoc Hub gekauft und bin weitgehend zufrieden.Die Verpackung ist professionell und edel. Das Gerät selbst einwandfrei gefertigt und passt von Design her optimal zu aktuellen Ultrabooks.Alle Ports funktionieren einwandfrei und die Cardreader sind sehr schnell. SD und Micro-SD Port sind einzeln angebunden, können daher gleichzeitig und auch für Kopieroperationen untereinander verwendet werden. Hervorragend!Einen kleinen Wermutstropfen gibt es aber am ansonsten sehr guten Gerät: Der Micro SD Slot ist zu tief. Die Karte rastet dort ein und wieder aus, aber nur wenn man lange Fingernägel oder ein Hilfswerkzeug (z.B eine zweite Micro SD Karte hat). Das hätte beim Design des Geräts auffallen sollten!

Di punto in bianco ha smesso di funzionare: sospetto il problema fosse il cavo di connessione al Mac.Nel complesso una soluzione completa, ma che scalda tantissimo e che forse pretende troppo da sé stesso.Amazon ovviamente sostituisce tutto al volo, ma ho preferito optare per altro.
