I had run out of space with my little art box I was keeping bits here and there and found when I needed something like a certain brush or drawing instrument it was elsewhere. With this it has so much space for all my stuff and more. I keep my extra leads and erasers in the top liftup compartment and all my expensive and larger art supplies in the tray and bottom space. This box is supplied with holes for the purpose of padlocks which is great option to be able to lock up your stuff of course if you are totally insecure you can probably fit a chain and a lock to it to secure it to your drawing desk.

A very large tool or craft box for large items. I liked the lift out tray - so that you can take out the tray to use smaller items and then shut the box. The large area under the tray is large enough for long paint brushes, large scissors, paper, hole punches etc. The clip top is good for smaller items - but DO remember to shut it properly before opening the box - or you will lose things out the top. I didn't realise when purchasing that the top of the box clips off - and this is the only reason I only gave 4 stars - I found it very difficult to clip back on again, especially when the box is full. I was hoping to use it for my art things, but find the box is much too heavy when full - so will now look for a smaller one that I can put paints,brushes etc and then get a shoulder bag for paper.
