I bought this light to replace a "boob" light -- which the Realtor said to get rid of before putting house up for sale. (I agreed). Wanted something mid-century looking/ modern and bright. If you want "bright" in a bedroom, you should have a 3-bulb fixture. You can use any LED bulbs with equivalent wattages of 100W (or more), or you can use less-bright bulbs. I used 3 100W bulbs. installation was a breeze. Just a normal light fixture install. Came with all necessary hardware. Nothing was missing, nothing was broken or dented, everything was extremely well-packaged.This has a glass difuser. I did not want the cheaper-looking plastic difusers that many light fixtures come with. Packaging is important when you are dealing with glass, and this difuser was well-protected.The only issue that some may have in installation is this: There is a nipple that gets screwed onto the bottom of the 3-bulb socket splay. It extends downward, and this is what will hold the glass difuser. It has some hex nuts that are pre-positioned onto the threads. The positions look about right (per the instructions) -- but they may not really be screwed on accurately at the positions needed. The difuser will not sit properly unless the hex nuts are positioned properly. It doesn't say this in the instructions, but the difuser should rest ABOVE (ON TOP OF) the 3 metal prongs that are jutting out from the shade (at the bottom of the shade.) You have to adjust the hex nuts so that the glass difuser is permitted to rest on the 3 prongs. The hex nuts for my unit looked like they were positioned close -- but, no cigar. I had to adjust them slightly. If you are not "following" this, you will see what I mean when you go to install the difuser. The shade itself is held up at a spot above the light bubs -- a clever idea.This is an excellent light fixture.

I’m just thrilled with this light fixture we installed in our foyer to replace the outdated builder installed fixture! I ordered similar ceiling lighting with just a single drum shade for our hallway, laundry room and closet, but wanted something a little more substantial for the foyer. This one with the double shade and larger size fit the bill perfectly! It was really easy to install and I liked that it was designed so the shade was attached after the main body of the fixture was wired and secured to the ceiling. It was much easier to install this one because I didn’t have to work around the shade. I’m very, very pleased with this fixture and highly recommend it!!

Todo a perfeccion

It was easy to install but we knew how to install light fixtures. If you are a beginner, you may find the directions hard to understand.Stylish with our farmhouse decor. The reviews mentioned the seam on the shade. We just turned it so that it was in an area most people do not look so that was not an issue for us.It puts off a fair amount of light which is what we were looking for in a fixture.

The light fixture was easy to install and really looked lovely. Would recommend it for someone updating their house.

I ordered one for a bedroom to update the ceiling fixture and liked it so much we ended up getting four more. The fact that you can use 3 bulbs, so it actually provides some decent lighting BUT it has the pretty frosted glass plate so you don't have to look at the bulbs is what sold me on these! I will try and add some pics after.
