When opened, the zip can fold back to keep from scratching laptop surface. There's a zipped compartment on one side which would not hold anything thick, or as substantial as the electric cord for the laptop, but useful nevertheless. It's convenient and looks good. Review: Great value and brilliant quality - I bought this for my partner’s 13 inch MacBook Air after having my own one of these that’s lasted over 2 years and is still in perfect condition after basically daily use. It’s got a really nice soft inside and is well padded, plus the front pocket is super practical for putting dongles or other flat things in (you wouldn’t fit the charging brick in here). Great value and such a great colour range! Make sure if you’re getting it for a MacBook 13inch (eg the M series) that you get the 13.3 inch rather than 13 inch :) ## Features - Internal Dimensions: 12.2 x 0.79 x 9.06 inches / 31 x 2 x 23 cm (L x W x H); External Dimensions: 12.8 x 0.79 x 9.45 inches / 32.5 x 2 x 24 cm (L x W x H).
