Compactor Ikat Extra Flat Under bed Storage Bag 107 x 46 x 16cm, Beige/White

I was struggling with storage space in my flat so decided to get one of these to put some things under my bed. It arrived swiftly, securely packaged and in excellent condition. It also manages to store a fairly large quantity of items securely.As for the container itself, a key benefit for me over the more traditional boxes is the flexible and compressible nature of the bag and its flat shape. It’s great to squeeze under my rather low bed and the zip seal is excellent at keeping out dust (which is really obvious with what collects under the bed given my wooden floors.) as is the solid and durable plastic material it’s made from. I’ve been using this for months now and it hasn’t degraded in the slightest. It’s also a good shape to store on top of wardrobes or cupboards and not look ridiculously messy like some storage solutions.The polka dot pattern of the container looks great as well and from the sides keeps what’s inside hidden (great if you’re storing in a more publicly visible place like on top of cabinets and have nosy friends and family over). The clear plastic on the top, however, is great when actually accessing what’s in the container; you can easily see what’s inside without having to open anything or rummage! I recommend folding or rolling things (I use this primarily for clothes, bedding and toweling) so that everything is in a single layer and therefore easily visible and accessible.All in all, this product is great and I’d give it five stars. It’s secure and relatively air-tight (no dust), flat and flexible, durable and a great alternative to boxes. Just moved to a room with little storage space so needed something to go under my bed. I ordered 3 and they fit a LOT of stuff in, more than I anticipated. I chose these for the price rather than design, but the polka dots are cute and the clear plastic top is very useful to see what’s inside. I recommend rolling your stuff (bedding/clothes/towels) so you can easily pick out what you need. I can’t yet comment on the durability as I only just filled them, but they should be fine as long as you don’t over-fill them and bust the zip.Would buy again

My wife ordered this as our daughter sleeps in a cot in the same room as us and space was starting to run a bit low. We toyed with the idea of getting a wooden cot draw, but the reviews for these seem to be very mixed and some of them can sometimes be a little on the pricey side. Therefore we decided to give this product a go instead. We are very very pleased with it.The product came very quickly, within the indicated timelines. It comes packaged really small, but once opened it's very large and can fit a very good amount of clothes and toys in it. The product itself appears to be quite sturdy and the added benefit it has over wooden equivalents is that the sides are collapsible. This is particularly useful for slipping under a bed or cot where the sides come come down lower than the middle part, as it doesn't prevent you from pushing it underneath, like you would be with non-collapsible materials.Overall, we were a bit hesitant at first going for cloth over wood, however we're very glad we chose this in the end. Although wooden drawers look a bit more stylish, the added practicality far outweighs this in my opinion, and once it's underneath the cot you can;t see it anyway.

Where do I start, apart from - DO NOT BUY - unless you want to store things that you never want to use again!I even cut up a perfectly usable thick cardboard box, to help it keep it's shape - I would have been better off cutting the cardboard box, to the size to fit under my bed!!Good things - large capacity, material is breathable, nice pattern and has a large clear plastic top, with a zip.Bad things - craftsmanship is very poor.- The seam holding the handle broke, before I could use it.- the storage bag is very flexible, with no cardboard to help keep it rigid . This makes it unusable, for the size of the bag, i.e. trying to push it, or pull it from under a bed, in a cupboard, etc.- Unsafe to store on the top of a wardrobe and get down, unless there were one or two other people to help. This is due to there being no rigid insert and the bag being very large and flexible.

The bag is completely soft with no cardboard included to help pad it out to the box shape and the material is very thin so if you have plans to put anything heavy in it, just be warned you can't really drag it around as bag misshapes and is at risk of tearing. (The plastic next to the zip went a little on mine but as I'm shoving under the bed, I'm not too worried). Sure this would be fine for duvets and pillows though. Wouldn't buy again as can get better quality for less money at IKEA.

Couldn't believe how big this was considering the small package it arrived in. Have got two eiderdowns and a sleeping bag in it. Very impessed with it for the price.

When I zipped the bag up, the plastic round the zip ripped although there was only some bedding in it. I would not recommend.

Bought to store balls of yarn under the bed.On first use the material ripped.The bag was placed on a flat wooden floor and then filled with individual balls of yarn ready for storage.The bag was not over filled and still had plenty of space left. Sadly the very 1st time we moved the bag to slide it under the bed the material along the edge at the join ripped.Very disappointed as the size and height of the bag were perfect for what I needed plus it also looked great.I give this 4 1/2 stars.
