Installed these on a Asrock 7900 GRE which pulls around 275 watts full load playing demanding games. These connectors get warm at 275 watts load but nothing alarming, these are rated up to 350 watts in the description, obviously make sure they are pushed in properly as stated on the product page. Makes your cables look a lot neater. I did a test with the connectors on and off. the performance and power draw is exactly the same while gaming. Recommended.

These come in a 3 pack and do an excellent job. The external housing is a cheap plastic. The mods do an excellent job but I would not recommend these for the nuclear power plants that are the 4080 super or 4090, they would overheat just on the design of those model gpus. I am only using a 7900GRE and they deliver power evenly and extremely well. I have let my pc run play Elden Ring then Starfield on Ultra settings for 2 hours and checked my temps, give or a take a degree these mods are handling the output extremely well.

I could only find one other reviewer on here that had concerns over the wattage these adapters can handle and thus whether high-end GPU's could potentially draw more power than these OCD curing champions could manage. Well, my guess is that that concerned lone reviewer is correct. The only "game" I play is Microsoft Flight Simulator and am running it through an RTX 3080, and while my system worked just fine, my OCD didn't like the way the GPU cables messed up the layout. So, these little gadgets looked to be the perfect solution to tidy everything up. I read the product description carefully, photographed my GPU power connectors and made sure that I ordered the correct type that would fit. No problems there, and my, did the system look neat & tidy when they were fitted! ;-) Next... test things out with a little flight out of Perth, Australia ('cause it was still dark in the UK and I like to use live time & weather). As the flight was loading and I could hear the fans spooling up, a critical warning error popped up that I'd never seen before that told me of GPU power problems/over-heating. Flight Simulator then crashed to desktop. I immediately removed these GPU power adapters and restarted the exact same conditions in Flight Simulator... and it now works perfectly. So, to summarise - if you're using a high-end GPU, with games that really push its limits I would strongly suggest ignoring your OCD and avoid these potentially dangerous things like the plague.

They work , more of a novelty but yes does what they say it does

Questo panegirico lo si applica soprattutto a componenti del genere, dove la perdita di prestazioni e i rischi dovuti a un serio malfunzionamento sono elevati. Ho la fortuna di avere amici più smaliziati di me in informatica, qualcuno li suggerisce e qualcuno no, d'altronde su Amazon stesso circolano foto di adattatori mezzi fusi e schede video spacciate, per contro risolvono parecchi problemi. Che fare allora? Tenendo conto di tutto ciò li ho comprati per una RTX4060, scheda famosa per il basso consumo energetico,tenendola d'occhio per settimane, esaminando gli attacchi a pc spento. Per verificare la tanto paventata perdita di prestazioni ho usato un programma di benchmark che uso dalla sua uscita, Superposition, con e senza gli adattatori: stesso punteggio. Giocando con questa build quasi tutti i giorni ho deciso di terminare la fase di "beta test" con un punteggio a pieni voti, ora lo stesso adattatore mi servirà per un'altra scheda dai consumi ben più elevati, ma so già di poter fare affidamento circa la loro qualità produttiva, per il resto li terrò on test per un po'. Giudizio finale: come per i cavi sleeved e altri adattatori, se se ne può fare a meno è meglio, ma se il loro acquisto è necessario sono ottimi, basta non abbassiate la guardia per un po'.

Alimentando una ASUS RTX 4070 White montada en vertical. Queda perfecto. Apenas sobresale del perfil de la gráfica. No se recalienta. Por ahora todo perfecto
