Good but hard to clean
Works well and does toast well filled sandwiches. Only downside at the moment is that you can't remove plates to clean. Otherwise a good product and toasts quickly.

Excellent sandwich maker, works well & seals with any bread thickness and lots of filling. Found a quick wipe over with kitchen roll while stillwarm makes it easier to clean with cloth when cold

Find a Square loaf to use in it!!!
It's a toastie maker! And it certainly will make a toasties. Heats up fast, reasonably easy to clean. The only issue, as mentioned by others, is that the plates are Square. You'll find that most loaves are not! Therefore, although you get a lovely toastie, half the filling will have escaped making for a slightly less deep toastie and a bit of burned mess to clean up in the unit. Most of the toastie makers I've seen have square plates and I've no idea what they are thinking. Also, if you use thick toastie bread then it will really squash your taostie, as "deep fill" is not really that deep!Wouldni buy it again? Nope, I'd look around for something that'll either fit a slice of bread or be a bit deeper. It'll do for now though.
