I have to say I dont often write reviews but this charcoal barbecue warrants a mention. It's awesome. Absolutely awesome. You can cook in a variety of ways. Iv slow cooked a 1.5kg of topside beef and quick grilled peri peri chicken so far. The food was so juicy. Very very impressed with how juicy it was considering the beef was slow cooked for 4 hours and I had only used half of my c shaped charcoal . The chicken was on for about 20 minutes....cooked all the way through...all pieces equally. Best chicken I have had. No more nandos for me! It was between this and weber and I'm pleased I went for this as I get that barbecue look on my food and it uses hardly any charcoal. I think i used 1kg of charcoal for the chicken and the same for the beef. Amazed by this barbecue and it's worth the money. Well made and great performer

Had this for a month or so and have really enjoyed using it. Sold my old gas bbq and opted to go back to charcoal. Flavour of the food is unreal and all the food has been juicy and cooked evenly. It is deceptively big and has a large cooking area. It's easy to use and so far I have left it in the garden under a heavy duty cover which I bought from a separate company. Just am excellent bbq that performs really well and won't break the bank. Also, it's far easier to put together than some people have made out. A pleasure to use.

Quality is good, I’m surprised how close the bottom charcole grate is to the griddle, but it is a large cooking area, so helps to keep charcoal use to an acceptable level.Feels sturdy and every part feels well made, however a threaded connector did shear off during assembly, it was only at hand pressure so I was a little surprised, it’s a built in thread so can’t replace with a nut and bolt. Have contacted char broil for a spare part, will update if that all goes well. It comes well packaged and overall a completely different beast to a cheap kettle bbq that makes you feel like it is worth the extra money (with the exception of the sheared thread on the ash collector bracket) . I got an Amazon warehouse deal, which was good as new as described, over all I am very happy with the item. I also got the char broil cover to match, quality of that is fine, but no better than an unbranded one, so only buy if it’s on discount.

Looking forward to using the BBQ for the first time but only just finished assembling it.Assembly was fairly straight forward having checked all the parts were present.Couple of niggles though!! There is paint chipped from the bracket on the main handle and the handle itself is cracked. Not bothered about the paint chip as it’s going to get some rough use but the handle being cracked is a pain!! I will have to wrap black tape around it so the crack won’t travel any further and to protect my hand from the sharp edges. Not worth sending back to Amazon as I want to use it this weekend!

This is the most ive spent on a BBQ and I was unsure about the distance between the grill and coals, thinking it wood just burn the food but I was wrong. The food was the tastiest yet. I bought good coals and this probably helped too but I am impressed and would recommend. The grill plate is different, for the better, and it is easier to clean.

Update 2023 Faulty design renders bbq unusable with no spares available. Ash tray holder nuts sheared off. What was a great bbq is rendered useless because of design. Company refer you to a spares company who don't list a replacement. Buy something else not recommended.Brought this last winter and only used it once for the first time early 2021. The assemble was easy but the legs in my opinion could do with a better fitting and be more stronger as it wobbles a bit with the need to retighten bolts. Everything else about the BBQ is fine and is well made and looks great. Brought the cover and brush which is very beneficial. Was a bit concerned about any mess (previously had a gas BBQ) but the ash collection tray captures any falling ash and is easy to empty and no mess was made. The first use was better than the gas BBQ experience but having now found that there are a variety of accessories available to enhance the experience on line from the same company which I have purchased adds to the easy use and cleaning of the BBQ but some grime sticking around the bottom rim is difficult to remove but hopefully if nothing else it will eventual burn off or improve the taste. Great BBQ overall and I would recommend.

I've owned many BBQs over the years, and I have to say that this could be the best of the bunch.The grill itself is very good at maintaining and spreading heat, meaning virtually zero cold spots on the grill. It also means that you need very little fuel - For reference, I have grilled on this badboy to feed a party of 8, and used roughly 3kg of charcoal. VERY efficient.The only criticism I'd give it, is whilst it looks great (and certainly appears much more premium than the price suggests), the legs are creaky and don't seem overly supportive. I'm not taking a star off for this though, as this seems to be the case with the majority of kettle style grills.I've changed BBQs quite regularly over the years, but I can see this one sticking around for the long haul.

Really smart looking, good size & nice & simple to use. I did a bit of research & this one seemed to get great reviews. A really good choice if like us you wanted something that would last but don’t want to spend silly money. Didn’t disappoint- recommend
