Brilliant body shaper. Being very petite i.e. 5' I have trouble with body length on anything like this but this is a perfect fit . Extremely comfortable with easily accessible hook and eye fastening. Smooths out all the lumps and bumps and no muffin roll which has been evident on every other garment I've tried. Didn't expect it to take me in a dress size but it has with the result that I can now fit in my size 14 dresses which I was preparing to dispose of! One very happy customer and I will certainly order another shortly. Well worth buying.

As with all maidenwear products, it's good quality, well made and holds the tummy in very well. No seams visible and the straps are not sore, there's no digging in or rubbing. Same height at the back as the front so suitable under most tops shoulder strap dresses. You wear your own bra with this product.

This is most likely a fake product as it is falling apart in a matter of days. When I’ve ordered this straight from Maidenhead it has lasted for years.

This is the first time I am trying the wear your own bra shaping body. It works. i was really concerned that it would "ride" up and be uncomfortable but I followed the size guide and purchased according to my dress size and it fit well. Not too tight (but still effective)so, I think I could opt for the smaller size.I have used Maidenform easy up waist cincher which flips up at the hip after a lengthy wear so I wanted this in addition to it. i haven't tried both together yet but I will - I am hoping that it keeps the easy up from flipping up at the hip. i will update my review once i have tried this.If in doubt, I would say buy it but make sure you stick to your dress size. If you want it "squeeze" you like a tighter faja, buy a size smaller.

Comfortable, fits well

Very long time to arriveI ordered a MI'm between Size 12/14Didn't pull me in like I wanted caused chafing ...didn't realise was hook and eye fasten .I wouldn't buy again .Dissapointed

Amazon sizing is not appropriate for this item.But never fear.... After reading the reviews on the sizing coming up small, I decided to investigate online and found Maidenform's official size guide for this product.UK sizing:Small = 6-8Medium = 10-12Large = 14-16XLarge = 18-20.... And so on.I'm a size 8, standard height and ordered a small, which fits lovely (a little tight, but in the places I wanted!). So if you're a larger 12 for example, I'd advise going for the next size up.Ultimately very happy and have ordered in another colour. Length wise I found this fine (I'm just over 5 foot 5 inches) and can wear the straps on the tightest setting, so assume the length issue is down to the confusion over sizing.Very pleased with this purchase and would recommend for any woman wanting to smooth out bumps and feel supported when wearing something slinky.If you have a particularly curvy bottom for your size, it may be more appropriate to go for the shape wear with legs to avoid any cut-in/VPL.

I already own a maidenform which is very similar slimmer style (allows you to wear your own bra with it) so I thought this would be the same.The one I have is a very silky, seamless one and fits perfectly.This one however is different. It's a much tighter fit and thicker fabric and has lines down the waist so you cannot wear it under thin items of clothing or it will show.I have had trouble trying to do it up and have to stretch it loads to get the hooks closed. It also is quite tight on the bum so again, you cannot wear and expect a seamlessly result.Was going to purchase a second one but I won't bother!
