A fun challenge
I got this as a gift for a friend's child, who is 8. They told me they found it quite challenging to put this together, but they had some help from their Mum and they managed to work it out. It made for a really good conversation between them about sustainable energy, and it was a fun bonding experience for them. I saw the final result once constructed and it's really cool. It's built well and has good quality to it. It was a really good gift I think, as my friend and her child really enjoyed putting it together and it was a nice educational activity too. Recommended.

Great educational tool for environmental management exam
We used this to teach a child how to build a turbine. In Environmental management gcse she struggle with the books on this subject but being able to make one from scratch and see it function in real life worked a treat. The penny dropped and luckily she was asked the questions on the exam about turbines and smashed it. Great value for money, easy to build, and fun to watch it work. Pretty quiet and functions as it should.

Good fun toy windmill for the price. Good project for children and parents.
I bought this to replace one that I had been gifted and had broken in the high winds of autumn. My granddaughter enjoyed assembling the turbine and we pleased it in a slightly less windy area of the garden. This one appears to work better than the previous one, though if this is because of the product or the assembly I don’t know. It was a good project for her to do and is fun to watch, I think it might keep cats off the garden too. Good fun toy for the price.

Kept my 11yoa occupied for a good while
It's sometimes hard to get my 11 year old to put his mind to a project but he was totally absorbed with this. He loved it! It was so exciting to see the light come on as well! You do need a bottle as extra but that's no problem. Definitely recommend as a good and educational STEM project.

saying all that the recipient loved
Purchased as a present so took a little while to see it put together. Fairly robust body but last connections a little weak. Motor need some serious wind to generate power , I don't believe the motor is geared so maybe a slightly dodgy one......saying all that the recipient loved it
