It looks nice, but didn’t work. Battery falls out. Had to exchange it. Hope new set will actually work.Update: I received a new set and it works great. I am using it for few months now.

The pepper mill runs ny itself at any given time or hour of the day or night.
The salt and pepper set are beautiful and worked great. About a two months ago, the pepper mill came on by itself, no one touching it, and would keep spinning until I picked it up and hit the bottom. I thought it was a fluke, but it has continued to do the same thing at random and last night while cooking, it did it again and my company asked "what's up with that"? Is there anything that can be done to replace the pepper mill only? I love this set, color and style, but coming on In the middle of the night is a little too much.Thank you for our consideration!Sharon

Gatta love these auto salt and pepper shakers!
Would give it a 5 star but item has a limited space for salt and pepper! Gear to crush salt and pepper are made of plastic. Easy to use! Just not a enough space to add more salt and pepper.

Breaks easily but is fantastic when working
This is a great product for anyone with arthritis (or anyone who doesn't enjoy grinding pepper by hand and the relentless twisty motion that it requires). My only qualm is that the shakers break VERY easily. The design is poor and the batteries have trouble staying inside their designated pocket. After only two weeks of use, one of the shakers made a sad whirring sound and died. I bought a second set only to have that one die within seconds of opening. Two bad lemons or a bad product overall? You decide.

One works great! Other does not work at all.

So stylish and super easy to use!
I have these and bought them for my mom as well. She has arthritis and has a difficult time sometimes using a traditional grinder. These work with gravity and make it so much easier on her hands. The only complaint is the chamber holding the spices is so tiny. We have to fill it often. That being said, it is super easy to refill and is more of an annoyance than an inconvenience.
