Fits some, not all cans
Great fit on Midwest & Scepter cans. Too small for cans made by TMG Plastics (Garage Boss, Briggs and Stratton). TMG lists a transport cap on their product website, but I can't find it for sale anywhere.

Safe Fuel Transport, No More Evaporation
These fit my plastic gas cans very well, but it is necessary to remove the locking ring of the gawdawful EPA-approved spout from the neck of the can or the cap won't screw on far enough to seal. Once that's done, you won't lose a drop of fuel to leaks or evaporation. Now my shed doesn't smell of gasoline anymore. It fits best on the tall type 5 gallon can, with a bit of neck thread to spare, but on the squatty Blitz cans, the cap has to be tightened until its bottom rim is actually in contact with the body of the can to seal properly.

They work but not great
They fit on our gas cans. And they make them transportable just as long as the gas can does not tip over. It's a gas can does tip over these rubber stoppers pull right off. However in the back of my pickup truck with the gas cans secure in an upright position there's no more splashing of gas.

Gas caps: These don’t fit older steel gas cans nor Jerry Can from Harbor Freight
They have fine and coarse threads in the selection but these only fit the plastic gas cans. I tried them on 5 different steel gas cans and they didn’t thread on at all. I tested on my blue plastic water jug and it worked, but that’s about it. Only fits the plastic cans.

Fit my red plastic gas cans
These fit my red plastic 5 gallon gas cans just fine. After moving to a battery powered fuel pump to go from the gas cans to my mower, snow blower, and cars, having a spout that could leak was not the best way to store fuel. These cap off the 5 gallon gas cans perfectly until I need the fuel.

Fits most gas cans with large threads
This was just what was needed to close off the cans. Instead of having the nozzle sticking up, this keeps odors to a minimum.

Great way to prevent spills
This is a great replacement for spouts that can easily break. Wish I had bought sooner.

An absolute must.
Turns a poorly designed gas can into a proper transport. If you use a funnel like I do you’ll never miss that stupid nozzle. I’m the pic are AmeriCan and Scepter. Tight seal.
