Very sturdy, great quality!
This is a nice size treadmill, sturdy and great quality. It was very easy to assemble and i did not require any assistance. I would definitely recommend if you are looking for a treadmill that will not take up too much space but gets the job done at a great price. They did have it cheaper at Dicks sporting goods but it would not fit in my suv so i paid a little more on Amazon to have it dropped off at my front door.

These machines are a crap shoot. This one turned out to be great. I recommend buying this treadmill
Pay close attention to what they say in the building instructions. They're well written and will save you time. I realized that after I was done building it and saw the WHY they have you specifically do things in a specific order.I like when manufacturers separate the parts into their blister packs by the step you need bolts, nuts, and washers. They also supply all tools. So the tool-less among you need not worry.Weight: Its fully 200 lbs of STEEL. So be prepared when moving it. I already had a $20 flat low furniture dolly from harbor freight. So put it on that and wheel it around. Unless you're a weight lifter, you are not going to man handle and slide this around your house up and down stairs. For the cable from the treadmill to the console I used their twist tie to tie it off at the top of the arm.Hardest part was not snapping the wires when plugging one end into the console receptacle. Just be patient and work on it and try not to snap wires.Ok its built: they send silicone for between the belt and the platform. Used the half bottle like they say. I used a quarter bottle. retensioned the belt. ran the belt on 1 mph for a bit. Let it sit overnight to soak in. Then used the other quarter bottle the next day.To break it in, I ran it on 1 mph for two 15 minute workouts.Treadmill is perfect. The roller speed and incline roller is great. The soft start which ramps up the speed is excellent. Also when speeding up or slowing down it ramps the speed or incline so its not so abrupt.Press Start, P1 (Program 1), then Start and it will count up in minutes and you can manually adjust everything.I have had no problems in the week of use. I go 15 minutes for every 2 hrs of sit down programming I do. So thats like 10-12 individual workouts.Tip: When untensioning the belt they give you a T handle to do it with. Sharpie mark one part of the T. Then count full rotations (14 full rotations) allows me to get my arm under the belt and put silicone on the board.Tip2: Put the platform in the folded position when putting on the silicone to help it to run down the platform. Do the zig zag pattern that they recommend.Tip3: Its HEAVY so don't expect to just roll it around everywhere unless there is a lot of room for manuevering.Tip4: Build it where you are going to use it. They say it too. Very valuable advice.Tip 5: If you ever wanted a Treadmill. This is it. It doesn't have 100 programs you'll never use. It has 6 that vary when you pick the level of effort.Well done Horizon. I will consider your products in the future.

#1 Didn't power up, replaced. No weekend support. Will update
12/02/2024: Horizon pinged me back after the weekend, saying it's likely a power cord issue, and they'd send another replacement part if I gave them more info. Politely declined that rigamarole, said I had already arranged the return thru Amazon. Amazon is just great 5 stars for them - returned #1 and got a replacement, figuring the first one was just a lemon. Keep in mind there is zero Horizon customer support on weekends, holidays, etc. Not a crisis just don't expect it.Second arrived, powered up fine, easy setup, about 35 mins, the key here is the control panel power cord snakes up inside one of the tall arms. So you have to do that manually, not an issue, unless they short-shrift on the length of the cord, which they did with #1; very short and about 1/1/2 inches hidden inside the top of the arm, so I got it done but very difficult to connect to the control panel. The second one came with two inches popping out the top, easy peasy. That said, it's only week #1 of using it. Trepidatious about coming weeks given reviews below, will update.Sat 11/23/2024 : T101 arrived today, Amazon delivery was great, very heavy but the delivery crew was super. Sadly after an hour assembling it, plug it in and....nothing. On/Off switch doesn't light up, no power. Passed all the troubleshooting steps, opened the motor housing to check for loose wires, nothing. Horizon has no weekend support. I'll update the review here if they can send a tech to fix, otherwise I'm packing it up for return. Will update.

Nice treadmill for constant user
This is my 2nd Horizon Fitness treadmill. The 1st lasted 15 years after daily use before it became more cost effective to just buy new. Their warranty on the motor is a must for someone who uses it frequently. The company replaced the motor in my old one after 11 years for free. That was a major deciding factor when purchasing a second, as the motor can easily cost 1/2 the price of the whole machine. The treadmill came in a massive box, which was too big for me to bring inside the house myself. Fortunately, the delivery service used a dolly and brought it inside for me.I assembled it myself, and it took roughly twenty minutes to assemble. The metal arms easily screw into place, but they do have some weight to them. Feeding the wire up through one of the metal legs to the console was a bit awkward. It took some gentle trial and error before I was able to pull it all the way up through the leg. The console itself was a bit awkward putting on. I was worried I was going to drop it, but once I made sure it sat snugly in place before attempting to screw it in place I was able to get it. It would likely be easier with two people, but it wasn't necessary for me.The buttons on the sides of the console for incline and speed are convenient. You can also twist the blue handle ends and adjust the speed, but it's a bit awkward when you're in motion. The treadmill was affordable and the running deck has enough width and length so I stay on it even when my stride shifts a bit.So far, I'm well pleased with the purchase.
