Excellent product and very successful using the upholstery fabric I purchased although I had to use a hand cramp to press together due to fabric thickness, very happy with finished result

I like this kit because it is useful for making Button earrings. But what vexes me about this product is that it contains too much of the backs with the hooks. I would like it if it only contained the flat backs. I shall be looking else for this product as I don't need the tool only the front and the flat backs.

Tricky but doable
Once you get the hang of it, and use some brute force, this works amazing! To be honest I used something to bang the button holder thingy together cause it was not working with the fabric I chose (even though it was not thick at all). Overall though, does what it says so I’m super happy.

good system to make buttons but poor quality
I don't know if they were intended for what i used them but here is just my experience. Good for light work as in very thin material to use for the button cover, as soon as you use the buttons to pull the material like foam upholstery with synthetic leather the cover comes out and it cannot be put back, I have to glue the cover back on top of the hook part. good idea, cheap materials. I ordered 3 packs just to get enough of them to stay in place because once they come apart you need to replace both parts because its bended in place. And one more important detail, you cannot press the buttons by hand as it says you should, I tried to push them in by hand and it just isn't enough, I used a hand press but if you don't have one.. the plastic pushing device deforms after a few uses with the press but it still does its job for the 14 buttons you get in a pack and the next pack comes with another set. Over all I would buy a bit more expensive next time just so I don't end up with the buttons top coming off on my finished product (after i worked for hours and staple them in place)

Works perfectly with one caveat....
Many of the button caps had the plain backing disks stuck inconspicuously inside them. I struggled a bit before I figured this out. Be sure to check this and remove them, or the buttons won't snap together.
