Excellent Product, Super Sticky!
I have been using Mefix tape for many years as my nan used to get it.But when I couldn't get it on prescription I looked into purchasing it online.As with the other reviews I can't recommend this enough!I use it to stop my heels from rubbing and my toes as I have rheumatoid arthritis and it gives them some padding.Also perfect for use instead of plaster. It isnt waterproof though, just to point that out.I love the fact you can cut off as much or as little as you want or need.It's super sticky and will seriously last for days without tucking up.My only issue is.... because I have arthritis in my hands I have to get someone to peel back the sticky bit as it's a lil tricky getting the paper off. It's not like a plaster where you have two halves.... this is like a sticky labelSo just be aware if you are buying this and struggle with dexterity.But overall this is seriously worth buying.It will last for ages as you can get various size rolls.The price is very very reasonable.Arrived on time, packaged well.... although box didn't have a seal not sure if they do though?!

Strong adhesion and versatile
This is a really great tape. It is extremely strong in terms of adhesion. They stay put unless it’s on awkward angle then you may need to apply extra. I’ve used these for a big wound and found it’s way more cost effect to buy this and gauze than to splurge on plasters as these accommodate for wounds of all sizes. It’s also great for henna. It have helped me gain a dark stain overnight by keeping the paste in place but also protecting my face from unwanted henna prints. I recommend these highly. There’s so much on this roll that I doubt i will be needing to purchase them soon but when i do, these are the ones i hope to buy.

Great purchase.
Love this roll of adhesive plaster tape. I use it to put on my feet to stop shoes rubbing. Or to go over small plasters to keep them in place. It’s really good quality and easy to cut to required size. Backing paper has a pattern cut into it so easy to get off.

Excellent adhesion and flexibility
Easy to cut to the size needed and the perforated paper back makes applying straight forward.Adhesion is excellent. No irritation if it is fixed with the length of the tape along, rather than across, any flexing. You only use as much as you need so little waste. Highly recommended.

So glad I found this
Years ago I bought something like this from Boots for holding plasters on the back of my ankle for bad fitting shoes, but had used up the last of it. I went hunting for some more for fixing an awkward plaster to the underside of my big toe and couldn't find what I needed until I came across this.I had tried micropore tape, but it just broke to bits, then tried the sticking plaster like flesh tape that most places sell, but the problem of using it around my toe is that your foot gets hot and sweaty in shoes, so it made the tape super-gooey, which in turn made it rub against my 2nd toe and caused a blister.This stuff is brilliant, because it is so thin (no rubbing), flexible (it has a mesh like structure) and breathable, so stays stuck even in hot shoes. I got the 10cmx10m version because you can cut it to whatever size you want. It's perfect for keeping anything in place that needs to stay put on the skin. It doesn't hurt when you take it off either.The only reason that it didn't get 5 stars from me is that it is a bit tricky to peel off the backing, but if you have a decent nail to pry it off at a corner, then you'll be fine.

Won't buy anything else!
I first came across this product when my son had an ingrowing toe nail removed & the hospital & later the nurse at the GPs used it.It is great stuff. It feels like a cross between paper & cotton so it is very soft but strong & incredibly easy to cut.We have used it many times over the last couple of years. It works well for many things (not just for holding dressings)eg. avoiding blisters on a hike, or strapping fingers up. I currently have a damaged thumb & I've used it to make a splint.It comes off fairly easily, but is very secure. It also 'gives' a little (unlike micropore tape) so if you are strapping up on a joint it will bend.This will be my third purchase of this tape. I haven't seen anything better on the market & to be honest, I think it's so good I wouldn't bother with anything else.

Dressing adhesive cover
Wonderful stuff. Really adhesive. Apart from its dressing coverage use it can also be used to stick the end of a bandage (instead of the usual narrow finger type plaster strips which leave large corners of bandage hanging) - very helpful when my daughter broke her arm. It can be bought in the same widths as bandages. Have also used it to cover over sticking plasters that don't want to stay stuck, especially on places such as heels when shoes have rubbed.

Great experience from order to delivery. Highly recommended!
Prepare the Skin: Ensure that the skin is clean, dry, and free from oils or lotions before applying the tape. If necessary, gently cleanse the area with mild soap and water, and allow it to dry completely. Measure and Cut: Carefully measure the required length of tape needed for the application and cut it to size using scissors. Ensure that the tape is slightly longer than the area to be covered for adequate coverage. Apply the Tape: Remove any release liner if present, and gently apply the adhesive side of the tape to the skin. Smooth out any wrinkles or bubbles to ensure a secure and even application. Secure in Place: Press down firmly on the tape to ensure proper adhesion to the skin. If applying the tape over a wound dressing, make sure to secure the edges of the dressing as well. Monitor and Replace: Regularly check the tape and the skin underneath for any signs of irritation, redness, or discomfort. If necessary, gently remove and replace the tape using fresh pieces as needed. Remove with Care: When it's time to remove the tape, gently lift one edge and slowly peel it back in the direction of hair growth, taking care not to pull on the skin. If any residue remains on the skin, gently clean the area with mild soap and water. Dispose of Properly: Dispose of used tape in accordance with local regulations for medical waste disposal.

Then cut the mefix tape to a suitable size peel off the paper backing and cover the lot with it. I had quite a large leg wound to cover and it worked perfectly. I would recommend it and Manuka honey anytime. I do not know if they sell manuka honey plasters but if you use plasters put some Manuka Honey on them its special stuff, do not buy jars of the honey it must be medical grade in a small tube, you will be amazed at the result you can use the honey on most things burns, rashes and closed cuts etc. My District nurses swear by its healing qualities."}}]}]}
