The sounds are very good.

My daughter loves Ben. He says the standard phrases so to a 2 year old he's perfect. Good size for her to carry round too.

Personally I feel this toy could have done with a bit more vocabulary, it only says 4 things and one of those is actually just a little giggle.It's also very sensitive, you don't so much have to press the button as lightly brush your finger over it, which has led to some rather amusing trips out when he is at the top of the changing bag and we go over a bump in the road etc. it's great for younger children though as sometimes these little buttons can be hard for them to find/press, but not so great if you're trying to be quiet and it starts talking when you try to move it.All in all though it is quite nice and my son is very happy with it which is what matters :).I would recommend buying one of the larger options available however, as this is one of the smaller ones (which I didn't notice at the time of buying), it's okay for my 1 year old but perhaps not so great if it's for slightly older children.
