and bought them pretty much entirely on the recommendation
Few months ago I asked Soundattak about cymbals, based on my preference they said go for these over Sabian Xs20's and Paiste PST8's. I had never tried out the cymbals in a shop, and bought them pretty much entirely on the recommendation. When I first got them in all honesty I was a bit sceptical. I was upgrading from a set of Paiste PST5's and the Xist cymbals sounded so different and I started to wonder had I made the right decision. However after playing with them and getting used to the sound, all I can say is wow, these cymbals are awesome! If like me you are looking into new cymbals or maybe wondering if you chose the right ones. Trust me, give it time, adjust to the sound and you will love your new cymbals. I maybe completely switched to Istanbul now. The hardcase is just an added bonus really. I will probably still stick to my padded case, however as a "freebie" you can't really complain. Whether they do just add in the case to bump the price and sell it as a freebie I'm not sure, but as a whole package, these cymbals alone are worth the price.
