Is there a tap to stop the water

This item cannot be connected to a water supply, I always use a 5L manual garden pressure sprayer with some Flash all purpose cleaner (or equivalent) to wet the windows, then I use the Mitclear.

Can you buy a brush attachment ?

I don't think so..it comes as a package and I didn't see a catalogue to purchase accessories

Can you join 2 sets together, so I can clean a 3 story house?

Maybe not. If the two sets are connected together, the rods may not hold the weight of the squeegee head.
