Has anyone tried this with Molton Brown

Dear Customerthank you for your question, unfortunately we only test simplehuman soaps in our dispensers however any soap which is of similar consistency like Molton Brown would be suitable to use. We do not recommend any soap which are of thin substance or have particals in.Kind regards

I have a Simple Human hands free soap dispenser but it suddenly stopped working even with brand new batteries. Is there another battery inside?

Try pressing the + button on top. It happened to me. The + and - determine how much soap comes out. If the - gets pressed by accident it can stop it from working. Hope that makes sense

Anyone have issues with new batteries only lasting 2-3 weeks? I've had the device replaced and have issues with the replacement as well

Dear Customer thank you for your query, we would always recommend using good quality alkaline batteries and not rechargeable ones. The longevity of the batteries depends on use but on the whole should last more than the 2-3. I would advise using a different brand of batteries kind regards

can you use hygenic gel

I am not familiar with hygienic gel and can only offer this comparison. If hygienic gel is THICKER than Palmolive Liquid Handwash then I would NOT use it in these pumps. Palmolive is thicker than the handwash recommended/supplied by Simplehuman and I do not think the pump could cope with anything thicker. I do hope this response helps you.
