If this setting is too low, the lamp will be activated even in daylight. (You may want this - especially if you are using the device as a permanent proximity alarm). If this setting is too high, the lamp will switch on probably only in total darkness. Usually, a mid-range setting is found which activates the lamp just as daylight is failing. The only way to get the correct setting is through trial and error and is done best prior to permanent installation. Place the PIR in the desired location and wait until the desired degree of darkness is achieved, (or take the PIR into a darkened room) then adjust the LUX controller until the device activates. Hope this helps. **Q: Does this support 2 way switching** A: My sensor is always live from a one-way switch. So I've no experience of using it on 2-way switching.
