This product came up when I searched for an enteric coated alpha lipoic acid capsule. In the description, it claimed to be time release as well. I took one tablet with 8 ounces of water, just before a meal. It burned my throat on the way down, and then my stomach burned for three hours, in spite of eating a meal just after taking it. It was extremely expensive, and I don’t dare take another one. Amazon SHOULD NOT handle this product. And there’s no way it was enteric coated. Amazon should do much better about displaying products that are not what the searcher asked for.

I have been taking R-ALA since a peripheral neuropathy diagnosis almost 3 years ago. It was difficult to find the higher strengths, so I just took lots of capsules. Someone recommended this, and I tried it. It's a great product. It has the higher strength I wanted, and it seems to be maintaining the progress I had made. This is on auto ship now.
