Very quick delivery, ordered Sunday night after a frustrating day of trying to prevent my dog, Marvin, from excessively barking at each sound and movement outside. Marvin is a Labrador x Collie who barks to communicate everything!I was pleased how quickly it arrived as it couldn't arrive soon enough. I used free standard delivery and it was with me for Tuesday.I eagerly opened the packaging and was a little surprised how compact it was but don't let that fool you, this is effective! I was doubtful a bark control collar would work on my dog after trying so many different training techniques but after reading the reviews for Lunalou I thought I needed to give it a try and so far I'm very glad that I did!I inserted the battery that is included, left the short prongs on and put the collar on Marvin then waited for something to set him off barking...Soon enough a neighbour walked past and Marvin leapt to his feet and *barked-* BEEP... and he looked around in surprise, sniffing to find out where the sound came from! Then he settled down until a car parked on the opposite side of the street and up he leapt again, *bark-* BEEP. Again he was immediately distracted and looked for the source of the noise. This happened around 5 times and he soon made the link and seemed unnerved, went to a quiet place and we gave him some comforting.I tried it on myself as I heard of someone testing an electric collar they had bought for their dog and the shock was so agonising they didn't use it on their dog. I was surprised to find that it was just the beep with no vibration and yet this has been enough to distract Marvin.I had a grocery delivery this evening and it is usually a signal to Marvin to go into a barking frenzy for the entire time and for a while after they've left too, just for good measure. I slipped the collar on and Marvin barked a few one-off barks then remained quiet the rest of the time which is definitely a first and calmer for everyone!This is only our first evening trying it but I've been able to take it off Marvin as he's really calmed down and I'm very hopeful that this could be the way to humanely keep us sane and stop the neighbours from being upset. My 8 year old has even said it's "like a dream come true!"

I have an Italian Spinone called Gloria. She barks, a LOT. At flies, birds, people, the sky, anything. And she's LOUD. I love her to bits but it was becoming such a problem it was really starting to affect our lives in a bad way. So we decided to try an anti bark collar. I didn't want one that hurt her (so no electric shocks please!) and I was worried about the ones that spray stuff as their noses are so sensitive. I spotted this collar and thought GENIUS - sound and vibration, I've never come across these before. I was dubious though, I wasn't sure if anything would work 'cos she's so crackers once she gets started on the barking - nothing at ALL stops her. So it arrives, I strap it on to her outside, and my neighbour starts walking towards our front gate. Gloria lets out a bark. Just a teeny beep from the collar. She stops dead in her tracks. Neighbour says "Hello". Glor lets out a second bark. Teeny beep with small vibration. Gloria looks about to see what the heck that was, then trots off around the garden. It doesn't hurt her - it distracts her and stops the barking COMPLETELY. I can now have full conversations with my neighbour across the fence!! No interruptions!!! Now Gloria doesn't bark much at all, even without the collar. Its broken the habit! I whole heartedly recommend this collar to the entire world. Its life changing.

I have to write a review for the Lunalou barking control collar, as I have to admit I was very skeptical at first. I didn't think it would work and was worried that it would be painful for my dog........but boy was I wrong. This has turned out to be very worthwhile purchase. It's light and comfortable for your dog to wear. My dog is a small Boston terrier and it's adjustable to fit him perfectly. The problem I had with my dog is that we go for group walks with other dogs and he barks incessantly at them . It has resulted in separating him from the other dogs and constantly having to walk on his lead and not join in the fun the other dogs are having. It has ended in some nasty fights as well.however the first time he wore this collar his behaviour changed instantly. The beeping the collar makes when your dog is barking baffled him into silence at first and the vibration stopped him in his tracks. The collar enabled him to for the first time ever have an entire walk without going on his lead. I've used the collar for a week now and the change Im dogs behaviour is incredible. He still trys to bark but backs down quickly and is far calmer. What a fantastic device. I would highly recommend to anyone thinking of buying it. It's so simple to use . You literally put a battery in and you're good to go. So simple but hugely effective and the best thing....painfree.

When we purchased this collar in early January we were not sure if it would help as we had recently acquired a collie who lived outside in a kennel and had a very annoying habit of barking in the early hours of the day. The first few mornings we had silence and thought that the problem was solved but then the barking started again. We suspected that the barking was such a habit that he ignored the buzzing and vibration however we decided to persevere. We clipped his neck and made sure that the collar was fitted fairly tightly. Now, two and a half months and a few batteries later, things are greatly improved. He does bark at times but not incessantly and we live in hope that this will, eventually, cease. Overall if you are prepared to persevere I think that this collar does work but, with many dogs, will take time.
