I've used these brushes for all kinds of applications. They work great with artist's acrylics and with emulsion for tricky home decor things. They are relatively (very)inexpensive and good quality. The three sizes are really useful and when it comes to decorating I would choose these over the conventional fibre shedding decorator's brush. Definitely worth five stars in my book. This is the third or fourth time I've bought a set as I've given them to painter friends who have liked them. One set are currently painting a mural in a beer garden!

Fantastic brushes with really soft bristles and a great range of sizes. They wash out really easily. No bristles fall out when used. Best brushes I've used ever.

Reasonable quality at a good price

IMPORTANT: Amazon have lumped reviews of different brush sets together on this page; this review and rating is only for the WHITE TAKLON SET, it does not apply to any of the other products.These three large flat brushes are excellent for general purpose use.The bristles are made of taklon, a soft, smooth and springy synthetic fibre - often used for make-up brushes (as a polyester fibre it is allergy free and totally vegan.)As brushes designed for artists use they are of very good quality for their price range; I initially got them for priming and perhaps some varnishing but their quality is such I found them very useful for blocking in large areas of painting - they handle well with acrylics - offering just the right spring and resistance that makes for a useable paintbrush - and they clean up very well. I ordered another set, I was so pleased with them.The sizes are 1", 2"and 3", they will undoubtedly be useful for oils and watercolours too.Excellent product.

A no nonsense brush set that are great used with water based acrylic paints; they leave a good finish.

Highly recommended for all artists who use these types of tools; from beginners to geniuses! Quality, cheapest and best - and vegetarian too! Next day delivery is helpfully packed too.

The brush bristles are impeccably soft which I love.Though I’m disappointed by how they have been inserted into the metal, there are fly aways, and a bend in the metal which has bent the disposition of the bristles which now makes them uneven. The screws also haven’t been inserted properly and bent which makes me worry about the longevity of the brush set. I’m not really sure what to do whether to keep it or request a refund as I’ve been urgently needing new brushes and now I’d have to wait more time to receive a new set…

I bought these brushes for my art work but haven't had the chance to use them yet.
